wife and mother in law went to a persian restaurant for lunch and they brought back koobideh and grilled chicken chunks for me for dinner. sooooo fucking good.

Wtf this looks so good. Why am I looking at this in the middle of the afternoon at work, I'm gonna be hungry for hours before I can get out x_x

Yeah dude, I love Persian food. And Persian girls. But that's beside the point. Something as simple as grilled tomatoes is so damn good.

Forgot to add: Had Chinese fried rice my mom made and some salt and pepper calamari for dinner tonight.

I made fesenjoon to continue with the Persian-themed meals today. Fesenjoon is a pomegranate and walnut stew, traditionally made with duck but I stuck with chicken.

So today is Τσικνοπέμπτη, which marks the time before Clean Monday when the fast for Easter begins here. And to "prepare" for the fast this is our local Barbeque day with everyone grilling meat (often right out in the streets of cities, offering free food to passersby). So the plan for today is, go out and pig out
