the idiots defined here are a special kind lol. do i think in a 50 mile radius around me some ppl think the world is flat? chances are high. will they kill me for believing otherwise? chances are low. will i encounter then frequently? i highly doubt it.

the scenario posed here is of polarity. perfect environental heaven with a deadly essence. it would be the equivalent of saying "you are a billionaire living in the land of your dreams, but whenever the sun is out the area is swarmed by deadly aliens. would you live there?"
Blood Elves were based on a STRONG request from a poll of Asian players where many remarked on the Horde side that they and their girlfriends wanted a non-creepy femme race to play (Source)

If there's any form of an "except" in there, it's not a dream place for me then, is it? ;P

Also, just to pick nits, I Never associated Flat-Earthers with being deadly. Feking stupid fer sure... but deadly?

Hell, if I had realistic flat-earthers around me I'd consider that prime customer, almost a sucker level, jackpot! ;P

You're basically describing a pure authoritarian system, and one in which every single person around you is a spy - not just a potential spy, but a definite one. Even a minor, unwitting slipup can cost you your life and worse still, what happens if someone you like makes that mistake and you witness it. Or worse, what if you end up in a position where you could potentially save them but have to risk yours or your family's life to do so. Maybe you're not willing to take that risk, are you willing to be the kind of person who watches murder in silence? Is a comfortable society worth perpetually living in fear? I prefer freedom.

I think you are 100% right and make all valid points. I’m just saying ignorance might be bliss. I think a lot of yes or no responses are interesting in the reasons given.

    The way people think.

Depends how much of a chore faking it is and for long. I’m not saying the possibility of anyone is wrong or right. You bring up valid points too.

Well honestly thank you for sharing that. Because I think it’s a pretty valuable perspective. I don’t know the right or wrong answer here to change anyone and that’s not what this is about. I think it’s just an interesting dilemma what would you do.

I think what you would do also makes sense.

Definitely not. Not because of any animosity towards people with different views regardless of belief. Will obvioualy have issues with the killing part ofc.

I like discussing things so if I were to live there I don't think I would be able to keep myself unexposed to disagreeing with their view. If I could guarantee myself from doing that though I wouldn't mind living there if it was perfect for me.

My dream place is one without neighbours, so the very premice of the thread is contradictory.

Impossible scenario as I would never consider an area with a deadly cult nearby to be "almost perfect"

    Indeed.

I think many would pay a premium for that kind of boring. Including silence
