"Ultra-left." definitions are indeed relative. In my country, most of those considered "ultra-left" would be considered centrist. Bernie Sander would be considered a centrist. AOC would be slightly left of the center.

Granted, now that you are on a new account with only 2 posts, I have to seriously question the integrity of any of your posts here.
Ofc you have to take the whole quote for what it is, just thought it could have been phrased a bit better

Just started my account, been a lurker for years. We all have to start sometime.

I'm a Democrat, but I'm am as center leaning as possible. At this point I'd probably consider myself an Independent over a Democrat now.

    I am:

Pro choice, pro guns, pro socialized healthcare, anti-wall but pro stricter immigration policies, pro-marijuana legalization, pro gay marriage/rights, pro death sentence, pro green energy, I think climate change is a serious problem that we must address, I am for small government but I am also for more corporate regulation. I want higher taxes for the rich but at the same time recognize that we WILL lose businesses here to other countries if we keep taxes high.

Most of my interest aligns with the Democrats, but this new wave of snowflakes who think I'm inherently evil because my ancestors may have owned slaves is keeping me at bay. I may vote Republican in the future if we get an actual sensible one to run.
Or you can just not get your news from Fox/CNN. There are no far left people with the Democrats. It is a centrist party and most of them are slightly to the right, a couple are slightly to the left. If you think Sanders, a very traditional social democrat, is far left you do not know what you are talking about.

If you look through the policies of the last great Republican president Dwight D. Eisenhower you can see what the Republicans used to be and surprisingly you can also find bits and pieces of Sanders and Cortez in those policies. We like to think that Kennedy stopped segregation but it was actually Eisenhower who did most of the work. He kept the marginal tax very high (higher than Cortes is suggesting) and used to money on infrastructure that has made America proud til this day. He kept the new deal alive against the right wings wishes and the US had a period of unprecedented growth.

We need to embrace the medicare for all proper gun control fix the climate issues and be done with it, anything less is just doomsday coming for the country

thats not what he was saying, though. he was speaking about institutional racism that has kept blacks in poverty for hundreds of years, from the slave ships to the projects. he isnt saying no individual white person has ever been poor, but referring to the bigger picture of race in america.

See how easy that was? Both extremist sides use extremist rhetoric. People like Shapiro and Crowder have labelled dems communist since they opened their youtube channels.

At the end of the day, you should judge a party on its platform and its dedication to said platform. Don't judge it by its worst actors, unless they actually have an impact on the party.

Seems like you should vote in primaries then. It's not like the other side isn't full of snowflakes on their frindges.

That or look into libertarians, I guess.

And that's how Donald Trump got elected.

Dems said "We don't want SCUM like you voting for us!" to anyone not left leaning enough.

Trump said "I hope everyone votes for me. Bernie voters, gay voters, union voters, I welcome you all to vote Trump!"

Im not from the US, but how much "institutional racism " do you really have in the year 2019? From a outside view, watching news etc you seem to be doing really well regarding having eradicating that part

voter suppression, targeting by law enforcement, disproportionate treatment for things like home and business loans. i dont think anyone can say that a broke white person has it as bad as a broke black person with a clean conscience.

But I daresay the OP knows that... especially when a stroll down the OP's posting history reads with bullshit like this:

I give it 7/10. Points for proper grammar but took 1 away for not properly spacing out the writing. Walls of text are never pleasant on the eyes to read through.

Another 2 points off for being completely wrong. My story actually was true. It actually happened, although I did use a nice sarcastic tone to accentuate the story. Happened outside of the DMV like maybe 3 years ago.
Or this… **on that note, who the hell in this day-in-age uses “colored” when describing a Black/African American person!?! That’s something an 85 year old would say! >_<** (Also note: you helped get this thread locked with your insane racist rantings).

Hey, I'm white and tolerant! I few years ago a colored woman in a car asked to use my cell phone because hers had died and even though I figured there was a 90% chance she'd drive off with it, my tolerant brain still let her use it all the same and guess what, she didn't even drive off with it!

So joke's on you, I am very tolerant.
And here’s you mocking “liberalz” to somebody who made a joke comment about Anduin’s skin color not changing…

Sorry, son, you can say you don’t like Dumbass Dump all you want - but your posting history will never show you ever being a “Democrat” at any point in time. At best, you’re some edgelord “moderate” with an overly inflated opinion of himself, but you clearly aren’t a “Democrat”… So grow a pair and stop lying.

I vote on things I believe in. Not what others believe in. I vote Democrat. If someone doesnt like my Roman ancestor owned their Greek ancestor doesnt change how I vote. It merely makes me pitty them.
