Convington High victims sue CNN for OVER $250M + Wash Post for $250M + others

CNN to be sued for more than $250M over 'vicious' and 'direct attacks' on Covington High student: lawyer

CNN is likely to be hit with a massive lawsuit worth more than $250 million over alleged “vicious” and “direct attacks” on
Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann, his lawyer has told Fox News.

Lawyer L. Lin Wood discussed his decision to sue CNN for its reporting and coverage of his client during an interview that will air on Fox News Channel’s “Life, Liberty & Levin” on Sunday at 10 p.m. ET.

“CNN was probably more vicious in its direct attacks on Nicholas than The Washington Post. And CNN goes into millions of individuals' homes,” Wood told Fox News host and best-selling author Mark Levin
    .

It was forthcoming, a result of shoddy reporting by CNN, desperate at attacking Donald Trump, with little regard to any American casualties stemming from their ambitions.

Essentially CNN and other trump-hating news-sites chose to focus on adulterated versions of incidents between MAGA-hat-wearing kids and various minorities. The sniplets were just what CNN wanted to run with, showing angry while males.

Unfortunately for them, the full video became available, at which time the kids were shown to calm down a situation they had no control over. They were compassionate towards the minorities, not hateful.

CNN slandered them, big time. Their lawsuit alleges that all statements carry a lifetime of mistrust from others (my words - theirs were more complicated), thanks to the internet and the story never going away, plus the millions of households it was broadcasted to, along with CNN's lackluster story recantation policy.

Oh yeah, Washington Post also got served with a $250M lawsuit. Various comedians who assisted with the slander also got served.

    --

It's the story you generally won't hear about much, since most media is liberal and, in their professional judgement, this is somehow not newsworthy. HAHA. Makes you wonder about just how newsworthy various places actually are!

CNN and Washington Post should counter sue for defamation of character.

Good luck to them. It would be nice to see CNN accountable for their bullshit reporting.

It's not exactly frivolous. These news agencies, without doing their due diligence, posted the faces of some kids on the television and said that they are bigots and racists. This has more than likely harmed their reputation forever, and isn't much different than a false rape claim. The news agencies are being sued for defamation of character.

The lawyer hopes there is a quick out of court settlement since the kid can't afford to go the distance. Besides if the boy wins it will open up every other news source, including Fox, to be sued as well.

That's a good way to look even more retarded considered because of the mainly the washington post and cnn the students and families of covington were fearing for their lifes from death threats over the coverage.

    TLDR:
    Leftist's are unhinged and violent

It's a whole lawfirm ..and if I could take a wild guess, I'd say they are not charging by the hour .. but rather a % of the win.

Any firm would be fools to turn this case away because the client couldn't pay up front.

One can hope this will change news overall for the better.

Click bate and sensational twitter news without proper journalism is cancer.

Good. More media/"news" needs to be held to account for their bullshit.
Unreason and anti-intellectualism abominate thought. Thinking implies disagreement; and disagreement implies nonconformity; and nonconformity implies heresy; and heresy implies disloyalty — so, obviously, thinking must be stopped. But shouting is not a substitute for thinking and reason is not the subversion but the salvation of freedom. - Adlai Stevenson

    What a joke.

These racist little thugs will probably get a nice settlement too.

Did you see the Gawker documentary on Netflix where they tried to play victim? The sheer amount of support that Gawker received from "Journalist" Twitter was sickening.

What was even better was the MMOchamp armchair lawyers "and mods" that claimed Gawker had no chance of losing that case when it happened.

Welp, guess who's out of business.

We need a Mega-Thread for all the snowflake conservative lawsuits that have no merit. I'm sure the corporate attorney's for each media company are reviewing and preparing Rule 11 motions.

Yea...I didn't see 250m wins for mass shooting survivors, that right wing media was plastering as "terrorists", and whatever else they cooked up with. Neither will these kids win anything.

Do you realize what will happen to your sources of information if this suit had even an iota of merit? (which is doesn't)

The ridiculous amount of money requests is going to kill the suit.
