Again, the investigation was started by the FBI in July of 2016. That's 4 months before the election. So how on earth could the Democrats have started the investigations as a result of their loss in November of 2016?

Those polls weren't "fake". Polls aren't perfect, and they in no way promised a loss. All they showed was that he had a slim chance to win given the polling they were doing, which was primarily nationally. The hiccup came in that while the national numbers were nearly spot on, some individual state numbers were different than expected and he picked up states that were assumed to go to Democrats.

There was nothing wrong about the polling other than Republicans attempting to undermine the credibility of all polling whenever it doesn't benefit them...until Trump goes and brags about 50% approval on Rasmussen which is the height of hypocrisy and ignorance.
    Bwahaha...

    Oh, you believe that.

Not really... not on topic I'm just browsing but the FBI historically isn't a organization whose words alone should hold much weight.

But, if you don’t trust the Federal Beuro of Investigation, how can you trust the head of federal government? You do know that the results will be filtered to the public through a Trump appointee? Just like every other declaration by the FBI... you know... that reason that Trump used for firing Comey, being that Comey stepped out of bounds by releasing Hillary was being investigated under the Wiener case? The president is the filter for the FBI...

Edit: The FBI is the source of all of your conspiracy. FBI are not the ones who control the public message. That would be someone appointed by the president. FBI maintains records, that you then reference, when their disclosure gets lifted and you find a new conspiracy. They recorded it... Guess who releases it to the public...

He does believe the FBI... he doesn’t believe the people who choose to not release their findings to the public. How is Jeff Sessions doing?

You enjoy this fairy tale, back in the real world the US voted for Hillary and it's only because of the Electoral College (and gerrymandering of course) that Trump became President.

Just looking at the size of the list each party has is enough to paint a pretty accurate picture of the way things stand.
I mean.. if you actually look at the list they expanded the list of possible people on republican side and then only chose to list people that are actual senators or house members for democrats..

    For example on Republicans:

Rev. C. Stephen White — better known on Penn’s campus as “Brother Stephen” — will face
trial on charges of soliciting sex from a 14-year-old boy, according to the West Chester
District Attorney’s office. At a preliminary hearing held Aug. 12, White pleaded not
guilty to charges of criminal solicitation, criminal attempt to lure a child into a motor
vehicle and corruption of minors. All charges will be held for court, according to West
Chester Assistant District Attorney Kimberly Callahan, who will prosecute the case.
White is married and has three sons and republican fundraiser in the area.
Who is this?? A guy that fundraises in his local area and was known on a college campus as Brother Stephen? He is literally just a preacher..

    Not really a fair comparison.

This is like a policy wish-list from the pedophile-PUA-Dark-Web.

I'm just retelling hard truths here, and connecting the dots.

In 2018, the President and one third of the men on the Supreme Court stand accused of the sexual harassment and/or assault. All are Republicans. If the GOP keeps control of the House, the next Speaker could be "Gym" Jordan, credibly accused of enabling pedophiles at Ohio State.

Is this the future 43% of the US sees as ok?
While I do think there's certainly a connection, it's a little more complicated than that. Basically the very wealthy among us don't really live like the rest of us do. They live in the own bubble with their own code of ethics. They're taught from a young age that they can do whatever they want to (most) whoever they want, and never face any consequences for their actions. This, naturally, leads them to adopting hedonistic lifestyles, including pederasty.

As for the the GOP support of this, this has to do with a decades long campaign of convincing people resentful of the civil rights movement (and their descendants) to throw away any moral principles they may have incidentally adopted. Through propaganda channels (e.g. talk radio, cable TV), they're convinced to excuse greater and greater crimes. The thing is that there's no line that can be crossed if this is done gradually enough. Because if they reach a stopping point, they have to face the other horrendous shit they've excused. If they draw a line in the sand at ICE detention facilities, they'll have to explain their stance on Gitmo and Abu Ghraib. If they draw a line in the sand in regards to staging a coup in Venezuela, they'll have to explain Iran Contra. And so, through this gradual chipping away at their moral core, they're now here. Excusing genocide, slavery, and yes, pedophilia.

So it's not so much as "GOP is exclusively the party of pedophilia", it's more that the GOP has been training people to excuse the actions of the wealthy oligarchs, which includes pedophilia.

Ongoing: In a series of Gross Coincidences

Plutocrat whose fortune is built on sex slavery watched Super Bowl with Trump!

    https://www.miamiherald.com/news/pol...227186429.html

And by another of the very many totally crazy coincidences that continue to bedevil the Trump administration, she is also the founder of the sex slave operation where Trump’s good buddy Robert Kraft, owner of the Super Bowl winning team, was busted at all of nineteen days later:

Seated at a round table littered with party favors and the paper-cutout footballs that have become tradition at his annual Super Bowl Watch Party, President Donald Trump cheered the New England Patriots and his longtime friend, team owner Robert Kraft, to victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Feb. 3.
Sometime during the party at Trump’s West Palm Beach country club, the president turned in his chair to look over his right shoulder, smiling for a photo with two women at a table behind him.
The woman who snapped the blurry Super Bowl selfie with the president was Li Yang, 45, a self-made entrepreneur from China who started a chain of Asian day spas in South Florida. Over the years, these establishments — many of which operate under the name Tokyo Day Spas — have gained a reputation for offering sexual services.
Nineteen days after Trump and Yang posed together while rooting for the Patriots, authorities would charge Kraft with soliciting prostitution at a spa in Jupiter that Yang had founded more than a decade earlier.

Before the 2016 general election, Yang offered no evidence of political engagement. She hadn’t voted in 10 years, records showed. But she has now become a fixture at Republican political events up and down the East Coast. Her Facebook is covered in photos of herself standing with President Trump, his two sons, Eric and Donald Jr., Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Rick Scott, Sarah Palin, the president’s campaign manager and an assortment of other high-level Republican operators she has met at charity events, political fundraisers and galas, many of which require hefty donations to attend. She sometimes carries a rhinestone encrusted MAGA clutch purse.

This is the Republican party in 2019. Trump is both a cause and symptom of its degeneracy, but more than latter than the former.

Not all Trump Voters are racists sex predators. But all Trump voters seem to be cool with racists sex predators.

This... is the most reasonable explanation for the problem with the current GOP voterbase that I have ever read on this board.
The only thing it's missing, is their unadulterated worship of money and power, which has nothing to do with the slow chipping away of their moral standards.
That was always there, built on the temporarily embarrassed millionaire myth.

It gets worse, who knew that predators could have a blackmail problem?

The Massage Parlor Owner Peddling Access to Trump Has Ties to Chinese Government-Linked Groups
The Cindy Yang caper takes another turn.
Li Yang, the Florida massage parlor entrepreneur who created and operated a business that sold Chinese business executives access to President Donald Trump and his family at Mar-a-Lago, has yet another intriguing line of work. She is an officer of two groups with ties to China’s Communist government. And she founded a Miami-based nonprofit that promotes “economic and cultural exchange” between China and the West in coordination with “senior…Chinese leaders” in the United States, according to a profile of Yang posted on a Chinese social media platform.

After Mother Jones on Saturday revealed that Yang, who goes by Cindy, had been peddling entrée to the Trump family, the Trump White House, and assorted GOP powerbrokers, national security experts noted that this situation could pose a threat, presenting opportunities for espionage or blackmail targeting the president and his inner circle. They expressed concern the Yang’s efforts to broker interactions with Trump and his clan could be exploited by Chinese intelligence.

In all seriousness, if China could blackmail Trump, they'd have done so by now. Yet the trade war continues and we still have a Huaostage.

Depends on how one measures the impact of the "trade war". Most of the state-side reporting are egocentric hot takes on the dumb stuff. How much pain is China really feeling?

On the other hand, its like the perfect distraction for:
    • Eroding support for traditional allies.
    • Trump wanting to bill allies cost plus 50% for defense.
    • Trump family businesses obtaining Chinese Patents at a rate unheard for any other US company.
