The number of times Blizzard reuses background art assets doesn't prove anything.
...not that it really changes my main point. It's still not a future glimpse of Azeroth, was what I was saying.

a floating continent would be cool - I mean hell the Dragon Isles could well be a floating continent, high up in the air.
even if it was on the old maps, that doesn't mean it can't change. or maybe whoever did the maps couldn't quite get the 3D rendering right and so were unable to make it seem like it was above the sea rather than in the sea. would also explain why it's so hard to find....
That would be the Blue Child. There has been some or at least I've seen people suggest having an expansion on the moon. That would be..interesting.
Well, in all honesty I don't know who the dude is. I just cared about the visual reference in regards to the planet layout and similarities between the corrupted one we see in Nighthold. The elune claim is indeed dumb.
Probably, or probably not, we'll see, let's talk again in a few years.
nah.
TBC outland for all intends and purposes is a flying continent. or argus. it means very little except that there is a cliff instead of an ocean at the edge.
ofcourse they could make it different by making the terrain revolve around it, but then it would quickly become just as annoying a zone as vashir was because it revolved around a gimmick.
I've been wanting a ksy city sky city rather in WoW for awhile but I've decided usn unsupported by gameplay no point...
That said the concept art and possibilities are intense.
The first response someone gave me is that Outland is the floating/flying continent, which is true but it's also in space which changes it... I think..
A proper floating continent akin to Lufia 1 or 2 where you can see the oceans/mountains below I think would have a totally different feel.
