    I don't mind either.

But saying any spec in this game is complicated just makes me laugh.

the fact wow is a PC based game is already limiting new player growth, But could this be an admission
a console version is coming? WOW doesnt seem to be attracting loads of new players.
I honestly think that with next gen consoles supposedly being closer than ever to PC hardware that there will be more devs porting their PC games over to it. WoW being one of them.

110-120 was probably the worst levelling experience in the game to date. You literally gained nothing and just grind another 10 levels because reasons

Level cap is just an excuse to keep the game time gated to a minor extent.
A level increase is needed to reset your stats every once in a while.

If they keep the game on the same level cap, your secondary stats would just hit ridiculous numbers after a while. And that's not good from a balance perspective.

Yep. This is the 1st expansion still got alts at previous max level even in WOD I had no problems leveling.
Can honestly say Azerite and the traits are the 1st thing I've actually hated in wow since 2005.

What is the definition difference between "allied race" and "totally new race"?
Dark Iron dwarves, Kul Tiran humans, Light forged Draenei are called "allied race", because they are a sub-race of dwarf, human and draenei?
Then why is void elf an allied race? it is a sub-race of high elf? but high elf is not even a playable race. Why isn't void elf a "totally new race"?

They are called allied race because they are allied with alliance? Then every alliance races is allied race.

    The naming makes no sense.

That's ridiculous. They can and do reset stats whenever they feel like it. They just hide it now with their idiotic behind the scenes black box ilvl scaling.

They could do it out in the open at the start of an expac. They like levelling because it's time consuming, easy to make, and serves the portion of the playerbase that for whatever reason finds the "story" during the questing experience to be entertaining.

Why are there always retards asking for new classes or 4th specs?
What is a point of adding new class/spec, when they are exactly the same as old ones, with just renamed abilities?
We DON'T need new classes or specs right now. We need classes and specs to be more distinguished and meaningful.

If you call it an "allied race" instead of a just a race, then you can impose an idiotic and time consuming reputation grind on it under the guise of justifying "allying" the race to one of the two factions.

This too makes no sense as either a race is allied to the horde or alliance or not and really wouldn't depend on how much they like any one member of either side.. but eh, making sense doesn't matter as long as they are grabbing up player time with cosmetic nonsense.

You didn't gain nothing. You LOST power all the way up, which is even worse.

Players often feel like silence means that the team is not listening.
No, BfA's current class design means the team is not listening. Ignoring valid community feedback from the beta means the team isn't listening. Snarky blue replies on serious, well-written posts and Lore's general demeanour in every community engagement capacity means the team is not listening.

In the future the team wants to make the existing specs more distinct from each other, with noticeable strengths and weaknesses.
Stop. Fucking. With specs. Get them fixed, take them back to being fun, then leave them alone.

It would be hard to imagine a WoW 2.0 not in Azeroth
WoW 2.0 was literally not in Azeroth.

ToS was released in 7.2.5, Antorus in 7.3.2, so I'm not sure what you are talking about.

The definition of an allied race is generally a race that's a reskin of an existing race. Every new race that has been added (Blood Elves, Draenai, Worgen, Goblins, Pandarens) used completely new models and animation rigs. All of the allied races, with the exception of the Zandalari and Kul Tiran, have used the same model and rig as an existing race. Nightborne use the Night Elf model, Void Elves use the Blood Elf model, Maghar use the Orc model, Dark Iron use the Dwarf model. Even the Zandalari and Kul Tiran reuse a *lot* of the animations from the Troll and Human models, respectively.

The reason this is important is because allied races take substantially less of a time investment from the art and animation teams, which means they are far more practical to implement on a patch-level timetable. Entirely new races take an order of magnitude more investment by the creative-types, and thus are only really practical when implemented on an expansion scale. The alternative, if they implemented them in point patches, would be sacrificing art time investment in new zones, dungeons, and raids, which means less of that content released. So would you rather have a new full race, or an allied race and an extra continent in the content patch?

    Arrow

M+ bla-bla-bla, specs bla-bla-bla... oh yeah, they learn a lot
(it remains to guess what this should have to do with classes design and why this tab is still called that way (although it probably refers more to one, who designed article), but not for example “Specs” or “Heroes (Champions)”)

mostly new race means new skelet, allied race means reskins (kul tiran is an exception)

Or maybe instead Universe of Warcraft?

With a practically unlimited amount of procedurally generated planets, quests, creatures, dungeons and RNG loot.
*Mine elements to fuel/upgrade your spaceship for interplanetary travel.
*trade with three new races of intergalactic travellers to further your adventure and learn new alien languages
*follow the pathfinder quests to discover the mysterious centre of the universe.

I especially love the bit "They are reluctant to implement systems for leveling used in Guild Wars because leveling up and character progression/strength is a core experience for RPGs.", they're such a core experience in WoW that we spend level 110-120 getting steadily weaker, brilliant design there!
