    Ideal dungeon group size?

If you could choose the ideal party size for dungeons would it be 3 man, 4 man, or 5 man respectively. Or maybe another number entirely?
personally i think 3 would be the minimum and maybe fun so dungeons would be designed for 3 people, 1 dps 1 tank and 1 healer, but idk

I was so used to D&D 6-man parties that having only 5 felt a bit strange when I started playing WoW.

Queue time for DPS would be measured in hours for 3 man groups.

I think it would be cool to have 3 man dungeons. Scenarios in MoP were close but they were kinda clunky - they weren't that rewarding and they were more of a story element - they were too linear and didn't have any loot outside of the completion chest reward. They felt underwhelming. Before the nerf to low level characters that came along with the ilvl and stat squishes, I used to 2-man dungeons with a friend while leveling. Was lots of fun! It was somewhat challenging past level 50 and it was fun.

what if there was no que and just a group finder like the group finder tool?

Another number - I like to think that some folks will agree with me that ideally it would work similar to FLEX where the content dynamically customizes/scales/reacts to different party compositions, including numbers.

i personally dont like flex so much becasue fights can unnceccarily get harder or eeasier, and without personal loot then loot would be differnet, i prefer fixed sizes

3 only works if you don't nescessarily need healers or tanks.

Increase the group size to 6 to make room for another DPS

So even more stress for the healer who get yelled because he didn't moved out of the fire to gain the tiny spike of extra dps.. no thanks.

I think that i would personally love to see a way for 10 man dungeons; not raids, i mean dungeons with a daily reset (and being able to queue them with LFG). UBRS was always one of my most favorite raids; and that's simply because you could go into a dungeon without having the burden of an weekly reset timer.

A dungeon that you can do every day and meet various people.

So the ideal dungeon size for me would be 10. 2 tanks, 2-3 healer and 5-6 dps.

I chosed 3 because it is easier to find 2 friends to play together with than 4.

4 and 5 work out pretty good. 3 I feel we be far too few and 6 you're starting to stress the healer.

Que times I suppose and Blizzard used this model two times before including island expeditions and szenarios in Mop.

Wow could accommodate for 6 men groups. Is it necessary ? Nope. But it could be done without much changes.

well since 10 man raids dont exist anymore, having a dungeon or two with daily reset and doesnt require hours to clear the instance, why not? Might be fun.
