Avenatti and most people here support a proper investigation into the matter, so there isn't that much of an inconsistency on that end, to be honest. The biggest inconsistency so far are people who unconditionally believe this person, but did not believe Ford back then.

1) Woman declares she was attacked.
2) Investigation called for.
3) Investigation carried out thoroughly.
4) Experienced law enforcement and state prosecutors make their case, including "we drop charges".
5) If there is a step 5, we continue from there.

Kavanaugh's case skipped ahead because of a rushed, intentionally limited investigation. Had there been a thorough one, you'd have everyone here saying "well, we'll abide by their decision". Until then, you have zero evidence of lack of consistency. You have projection and conjecture, but no evidence.

The report didn't exonerate Trump from crimes and the fact the DoJ and senate Repubs are blocking the release of the report also indicates Trump and likely others are guilty.

The current situation seems so unprecedented, I'm saying the hero we need.
But for the current moment, there is immeasurable value in him bringing so much information to the public. He seems to be doing the work most of the media could not be bother to do. Or say the things that Muller won't or is not allowed to say.
