The sad thing is, he does know that he is feeding the incels who use shit like this as justification to send rape and death threats to actors and writers.

No one wants to see Star Wars: Return to the Retirement Home.

The dude loves jokes. People take him too seriously sometimes.

I mean, if he likes jokes he could use memes or art work depicting the old cast together that wasn't created by some bitter incel dorks.

But then they are in on the joke, not the joke itself.

This was a sick and badass burn. Classic Hamill.

Episode 8 made me really curious about what they plan on doing with Episode 9. It was clear from the start that they didn't plan on keeping Kylo Ren as the "big bad". So, I wonder what they will end up doing for Episode 9? The name is likely a play on words, and I'm curious what that means, as well.

What...? I mean, even if this was true, why should he feel like it's his duty to... er... not post anything ever on the off chance it might rile up some crazies that would have gotten riled up anyways?

Take it as it is; a joke. Why would anyone take this seriously?

I mean, I am aware it's a thing, but that doesn't make it make any less sense.

Confused. Aren't incels ment to hate women or something? Why would this rile them up?

Modern gaming apologist: I once tasted diarrhea so shit is fine.

    didn't see your other post.

I don't remember the interview but SWTOR is treated something like a parallel universe.
Don't see why it would need to be. It takes place close to 4000 years prior to the movies settings, nothing done there really has any effect on the current lore.

Making it non canon means they can make there own old republic stuff without having to retcon stuff out of the old canon.

The Old Republic has some consistency errors with the current canon when it comes the force-users ie everyone is OP.

I just watched TLJ again last night and have to say its even worse than my original opinion.

The first time I watched it the "newness" helped conceal some of the awkward and clunky pacing of the plot but a second go around and it was very apparent. I also was surprised just how unfun the movie was. I am guessing the casino scene was meant to be fun but it was really just overlayed by the forced moral soap-boxing.

IX would have to be so amazing for the sequels to not go down as the worst trilogy in the franchise. I just don't see it happening at this point.

It's mostly the SJWs being a problem.
The people who hated TLJ are mostly arguing for not being called things because they dislike a movie that in their eyes damaged the lore and consistency of Star wars and severely ruined the story that Force Awakens started.

Being called "Incels" "Manbabies" "Racists" "Mysoginist" and other insults because they dislike a movie is not fair and I understand their anger.
It's really only a very small minority who send such threats.

I don’t think this movie will top Revenge of the Sith. It’s the best SW film out there

This is a pretty big load of baloney. The same pattern happens in every last Jedi thread the majority complain about preserved social justice when said social justice doesn’t even exist in the movie.

As far as lore and consistency goes TLJ has no actual problems rather you go by old or new canon.

You're flat out incorrect. TLJ is full of inconsistency and plot holes, it flat out ignores a ton of plot points from The Force Awakens, has a lot of pointless sequences, treats the lore poorly and has lore breaking moments like the Hyperdrive suicide stunt.

I'd go deeper into details but honestly, a lot of people have covered this in detail. Here's a good example:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lowZyUdzsnY

It's a multiple part review but it goes pretty deep into why the movie is a problem.
