Folks attacking Sanders like this is a testament to the effectiveness of right wing propaganda. They honestly have no clue about what Sanders has been talking about for decades now. They completely misunderstand what he and many others want for the US.

Sanders certainly burst a few bubbles with his town hall, though. At the very least there's tens of thousands of Trump voters starting to question the lies they've been fed.

in the real world, the tax cut benefited the wealthy and corporations, not the normal people.

The only reason this is an issue is because the cult of the dumb, also know as trumps base of incels and racists.

Believe the opposition has an issue with people making money, they don't what they do have issues with is how wealth is obtained and retained through generations. A large chunk of the wealth floating around isn't earned, it is inherited and constructs are made to avoid paying taxes on as much as possible.

Now if not paying taxes would only effect them nobody would care but it doesn't, every time someone avoids paying millions those millions are millions the working and middle class has to cough up, so in essence these people are stealing from the public. And these people include trump and his family, he is actually the very definition of inherited wealth that abuses the system.

So for me it's absurd that especially the lower class what is generally the trump base also supports him, guess that's what happens if news turns into propaganda and churches keep your people dumb.

That's where you are wrong. Senate wages are very high indeed starting at an average of 174k. Even back in 2006 when Bernie was first elected he would have made 165k or more per year on average, after taxes and writing a best selling book he would easily be a millionaire.
