I barely played a few weeks at the start of BfA and I've recently returned to the game... and I just hate the tortollan quests. Everytime I listen to her say "another turtle made it to the water" something very evil grows deep inside me and I think that it will eventually explode and cause a catastrophe of global proportions.

Please, tell me there's a way I can kill this psychopath granny who lets their grandchildren be eaten by albatross and crabs.

Those are just turtles and not tortollan. The BfA CE pet is what a baby tortollan looks like.

I always found something really funny about these quests. "save 10 turtles" ok cool, i got ten, there is still 15 on the beach should i try save them? nah, fuckem, you done your 10, just walk away now

Or when i am rescuing people in cages. have 15 keys left. rescued 9/10 ppl. get to the 10th. its a group of three cages. Open first cage, person is happy. quest completes. other two look at me "sorry guys, i got my 10/10, you on your own" *throws remaining keys just out of reach.

I was surprised, when I came back to the game, that there was a WQ where you're doing the opposite: controlling a crab killing the little turtles.

I like to think my character hands one of the remaining prisoners the keys so they can finish the job while I focus on clearing a path to safety. Doesn't reflect ingame, but it helps fill in the plot hole.

I think the turtles you save and the Tortollan are 2 different things. They just feel an affinity for the regular turtles but still not enough to let some be taken by the crabs. It doesn't say the newly hatched turtles are their children.
