It's an interesting question to think about what effects we'll see when humans get almost exactly what they want. I'm thinking virtual reality + sensory overload, sex bots, etc. I'm not seeing the overwhelming evidence that people will be the exact same with significantly different experiential inputs (VR, porn) and neurochemistry (e.g. higher intensity of orgasm). Sex is involved in a lot more of our lives than just the act of sex. I'd rather we get a better understanding of how this all works before rushing mindlessly into a culture of maximal pleasure for its own sake.

On-topic: No. People are going to find their porn, regardless of how harshly you punish pornography. The mature thing to do would be for parents to communicate with their children and not treat the Internet as a babysitter. Puritanical legislation and think-of-the-children pearl clutching isn't going to make something go away, parents are going to have to parent and buck up some responsibility.
This. The answer is "no, you can't get rid of it, and trying will just make it more common". Also, there's no such thing as "sinful". LOL.

Art typically isn't meant to be realistic. A lot of movies and videogames are good even though they aren't realistic. But I don't think that's a problem as long as parents tell their kids about how the real world operates vs the more imaginary things.

Pornography is just awful. Even indirect exposure to it turns some people into insufferable sanctimonious assholes.

So I'm having trouble seeing that link to porn since it seems to link more to masturbation rather than pornography.
You seem to be conflating probability and intensity with mere possibility. It's a tough challenge to prove the psychological effects of hardcore, high-intensity porn are the exact same as masturbating to a cave painting.

There was porn in ancient Egypt and China
There was porn in the Bronze Age
There was porn in the Iron Age
There was porn in the Dark Ages
There was porn in the renaissance
There was porn in the industrial age
There was porn in the 20th century

Why the fuck should we demonize the recording or drawing of a natural act?

    What exactly will it accomplish?

Sex should be fucking celebrated like it was 2000-6000 years ago.

Not really, just didn't understand your position or argument since it was kind of vague to begin with. I understand more now and I would agree that it would be difficult.

With how damn easy it is to access and stream porn online i say no, takes like under 5 sec to find it then just as much to start streaming it.
Do you hear the voices too?

I think the answer is "Kill all the younglings." But that's not exactly the response you want.

You're in favor of moving back to low resolution, low quality static images of sex and getting rid of what we have now? I just don't understand your view here.

Pornography has existed since we started drawing on cave walls.

I'm more interested in how we can get rid of you.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.

    Just, be kind.

The only way to completely get it out of kids hands would be by massively inconveniencing me and every other adult. Be it in regards to adults getting their hands on porn or preventing "kids" from getting theirs onto it. I think I speak for the majority of adults here when I say: Fuck off mate. My kids will get the talk and be taught to be responsible with it and be restricted as much as it makes sense, but I sure as hell won't babysit them 24/7 until they finally turn adults. Not for a flimmsy reason like "it's sinful", I'll just ask you to kindly fuck off with your backwards relgion as well if that is your reason...

crack-cocaine and meth/pcp,etc is banned because it is an extremely harmful and dangerous substance. crack cocaine often cause crime waves in and of itself via people going to break into other people's houses for money for drugs. you literally become a slave to the drug.
