I don't view myself that way. I have anxiety issues, depression and ptsd. I'm in therapy and that coupled with anxiolytics has done a lot for me. My life hasn't been ruined, it's an obstacle to overcome.

Kudos to you for being strong about it. I'm being sincere. But not all women are. In fact, you're the outlier in these scenarios, because most women aren't. And you know what they've gone through, and when they're not strong enough to overcome that obstacle, it consumes their existence and everything goes downhill from there. Death penalty should be for: Murder, violent rape (having a few drinks with a girl and then she says yes and then wakes up the next day and regrets it isn't rape, just to clarify) injuring multiple people with the attempt to murder, or multiple lesser crimes, a three strikes you are dead rule. For example two thefts of property and one assault it is clear you aren't going to learn, get rid of the person.

In general, I don't support the death penalty. Not because I find fault with it as punishment, or as prevention, but because the increased severity of the crime increases the pressure everyone involved receive to find someone to blame.

The convictions of death penalty cases should be beyond reproach, but in almost every case, the percentage of wrongful and completely false convictions for death penalty cases are substantially higher than "lesser" crimes.

Let's not forget that Trump's continued to defend his argument that the Central Park 5 should have been executed, even though they were completely exonerated by DNA and a confession from the actual rapist after they had already served out their sentences.
