Bliz said that they will probably have to add brand new Vanilla content after Naxx.
So, i was thinking... what if the timeline unfolded differently this time?
The level is still 60. We will not leave Azeroth. The item level increases. The content's difficulty increases even more.
This would happen on different servers, where you could copy your characters. So that the "puuure" servers remain "pure".

PATCH 1.13.0
- Story: Tension arises in the Hinterlands.
The Wildhammer Dwarves and High elves are not OK with the Revantusk Trolls hunting the gryphons for food and cutting down the forests.

- New battleground: Battle of the Hinterlands. Two-phase battleground, attackers/defenders. Aerie Peak/Revantusk Village. Fastest capture wins.

PATCH 1.13.1
- Story: A conspiracy against the Forsaken is unveiled.
Sylvanas finds out that Varimathras was conspiring with Balthazar and other demons to replace or possess her and take control of the Forsaken.
She reluctantly turns to the Argent Dawn for help. It makes sense to fight shadow with light.
Any forsaken who were priests or paladins in life, are cautiously allowed to train with the Argent Dawn, and remember the ways of the light.
- New quests and a world boss are availiable in Western Plaguelands.
- New raid: Undercity. (All non-undead participants automatically wear an Argent Dawn tabard)
Fight through the demonic forces of the Nathrezim to retake Undercity for the Forsaken
- In addition to helmets and cloaks, certain races can now "hide" more pieces of armor.
Shoulders, Waist, Hands, Wrists: All races.
Chest: Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Dwarves, Night Elves.
Feet: Trolls, Tauren, Night Elves.
PATCH 1.13.2
- Having fought beside their Wildhammer cousins, the Bronzebeards have now learned how to be shamans.
To unlock this, you need to have a Dwarf character exalted with Wildhammers, then complete a long hard quest chain.
- Those select few forsaken former paladins, have returned from Argent Dawn to the Undercity and started teaching others. Undead can now be paladins. As they were in life.
To unlock this, you need to have an Undead character exalted with Argent Dawn, then complete a long hard quest chain.
- Orcs and Undead have now the option to sit up straight, availiable at the barber shop.
- Priest-specific racial skills are removed.
- Lightwell is replaced by Fear Ward as the final talent in the Holy tree.
PATCH 1.14.0
- Story: Tension arises in Dustwallow Marsh.
Now that the threat of Onyxia is gone, the nobles and officers of Theramore want to expand outside the city borders.
The vast majority of the citizens is on their side, thus Jaina had no other option but to give in to their demands.
The armies of Theramore are now on an ogre-hunt to drive the Stonemaul clan out of the area.
The ogres ask their Horde allies for help.
- New world boss is availiable in the area.
- New battleground: Dustwallow Crescent. AV type battleground, Brackenwall Village vs North Point Tower.
- Having fought beside both Dwarven clans, Humans have now learned how to be hunters.
To unlock this, you need to have a Human character exalted with Wildhammers and Ironforge, then complete a long hard quest chain.
- Having fought beside the Revantusk forest trolls and the Tauren, the Darkspears have now learned how to be druids.
To unlock this, you need to have a Troll character exalted with Revantusk and Thunder Bluff, then complete a long hard quest chain.
- New feature: A secondary, new travel form is availiable for shamans at their trainers.
Orcs: Red version of ghost wolf form.
Trolls: Ghost raptor.
Tauren: Ghost tallstrider.
Dwarf: Ghost dire boar.
To unlock this, you need to have a shaman exalted with the Earthen Ring, then complete a long hard quest chain.
PATCH 1.14.1
- Story: The Burning Invasion.
Demons start pouring into Azeroth through the Dark Portal.
Kurdran and his Wildhammer gryphon riders are flying day and night to
evacuate as many survivors as possible from Outland to the newly established, neutral refugee camp in Deadwind Pass.
- New quests and a world boss are availiable in Deadwind Pass.
- New quests and a second world boss are availiable in Blasted Lands.
- New raid: The Dark Portal.
You start at Deadwind Pass, and fight your way through demons and bosses, all the way to the Dark Portal.
Your goal is to clear the way for the refugees to fly safely back to the refuge camp.
In the end, you step through the portal to Hellfire Peninsula to fight the final boss and blow up the Dark Portal for good.
- After living for so long beside gnomes and humans, the Bronzebeards have now learned how to be mages.
To unlock this, you need to have a Dwarf character exalted with Gnomeregan and Stormwind, then complete a long hard quest chain.
- After living for so long beside orcs and forsaken, the Darkspears have embraced their dark tendencies and can now be warlocks.
To unlock this, you need to have a Troll character exalted with Orgrimmar and Undercity, then complete a long hard quest chain.
PATCH 1.14.2
- New Profession: Jewelcrafting.
To unlock this, you need to have a character with 300 mining, exalted with Outland Refugees, then complete a long hard quest chain.
- Racials get more balanced.
Warstomp: Is now instant cast.
Berserking: No longer has a low health requirment to be at full strength.
Stoneform: Now also removes magic and curse debuffs.
Shadowmeld: You are now harder to detect. Equivalent to stealth level 5.
Hardiness: Now passively reduces the duration of stuns by 20%.
WotF: No longer provides a five second immunity. Cooldown increased to 3 minutes.
PATCH 1.15.0
- Story: Strange things are happening at the Outland Refugee Camp in Deadwind Pass.
The dead spirits are restless and try to warn the living.
The animals of the area seem possessed and skeletons rise from their tombs but appear mutated.
- New Raid: Crypts of Karazan.
Fight through mutated undead, spiders, and more..
At their bottom, the crypts appear breached. But there is a force field preventing you from going further.
It can only be opened by someone with the Atiesh staff who has also finished the "C'Thun's Legacy" questline.
You open it and descend deeper, into some weird caverns where you fight Old God cultists.
As you defeat the final boss, with it's last breath he causes an earthquake and the tower of Kharazan colapses. Thankfully, away from the camp.
PATCH 1.15.1
Class Changes:
- The warrior talent "Improved Heroic Strike" now reads: Using Heroic Strike on an enemy affected by Sunder Armor, spreads Sunder Armor to 1/2/3 nearby enemies within 8 yards.
- The warrior talent "Improved Charge" now reads: When entering combat you gain the "unruffled" debuff for 3 seconds. Allowing you to use Charge in combat.
- The paladin holy talent Consecration is now baseline.
- New paladin tier-3 holy talent. Merciful Consecration: your Consecration now also heals.
- The paladin talent "Improved Righteous Fury" additionally increases the threat of your Consecration by 33/66/100%.
- New paladin ability "Hand of Reckoning", identical to Taunt.
- The hunter survival talent "Deterence" is now baseline.
- New hunter tier-3 survival talent. Trap Launcher: Your next trap is launched to a target location within 30 yards. 1m Cooldown.
- New hunter ability. Play Dead: Your pet casts Feign Death on itself until canceled.
- Added mechanic for shamans - They can now customize a few presets of totems, one of each element, which will be summoned at the same time. (you know what i mean)
- The rogue subtlety talent "Improved Sap" now maxes out at 100% from 90.
- All three of the druid's trees receive a slight buff. (no idea what, never played one)
- The mage spell Fire Ward is removed.
- The mage spell Frost Ward is removed.
- New mage spell Elemental Ward: Absorbs any of Fire, Frost, Nature damage.
- New mage spell Cosmic Ward: Absorbs any of Shadow, Light, Arcane damage.
- New mage spell Mage Table: i mean.. seriously.
- Warlock Soul Shards no longer dissapear while logged off.
PATCH 1.16.0
- Story: Blood and tears start to rain periodically all over azeroth.
The moon is blood red.
Goblins, Gnomes and Dwarves are looking through their telescopes and see some activity.
But it is not clear what is happening.
News from the temple of the moon in Darnassus say that the moon, Elune, is hurting.
The tauren confirm this. Mu'sha is in trouble. And we have to travel there and help her.
- Blood, Tears and Crystalized forms of those, start raining in random zones, periodically.
Adventurers have to be really careful. They can't stay out in the open for too long or they will die.
Standing next to bulidings and objects give your cover against these rains.
Blood rain: Stacks up to 100 and reduces your stats by 1% per stack.
Blood hail: Stacks up to 100 and applies a strong bleed.
Tears rain: Stacks up to 100 and reduce any healing or food regen by 1% per stack.
Crystal hail: Stacks up to 100 and deals direct damage with each hit.
These dont remove stealth.
- On top of that, Blood and Tear crystaline elementals spawn in these areas. As well as rare bosses.
It is extremelly difficult to fight under the rain, but the rewards will be significant.
