The Black Empire will Rise again!

The only way to permanently banish them is to destroy them in their own realm.

They will definitely soon be back. Once N'Zoth surfaces to Azeroth and make his presence physically known, then the other old gods will follow.

Do you know why old gods aren't randomly hurled at a random spot in Azeroth but they precisely seek out those sweet spots?
The well of Eternity is just a portal. In it's latent state it is a pool of arcane energies that grants bonuses to those who drink from it, use, it or reside nears it.

But do you know old gods are like the burning legion? They will respawn and return not until you make them manifest physically then kill them in their own realm

Remember the lines: I return to Nya'lotha?
It is the Black Empire's Twisting Nether and is connected to the rift of Aln.

N'Zoth will be placed into the blade by Sylvanas right before we can finish him, and she will use that immense power to open a permanent rift to the shadowlands and permanent death will no longer exist for her and her armies. This is all Genn's fault for stopping her with the lantern.

That is one direction the story could plausibly go. Making N'Zoth Sylvanas' pokemon and capturing him inside the pokeball, blades of the black empire.

There is still one unclear thing not outright explained by WoW. What is Nyalotha?Where Nyalotha? What is made of?

Don't forget to bring daddy Illidan leading his Illadari and his Legion: composed of NAGAS, DEMONS, AND SATYRS.

Those sweet spots are all titan constructs meant to contain the old gods.

The Well can be used as a portal but is the remains of the wound from when Yrshhj or however you spelled it was ripped out of Azeroth.

Ny'alotha is where we will be going in 8.3, where it will all take place.

Aman'thul the Highfather says: Hold my cosmic beer.

Seriously: Old Gods do not behave like the Infinilegion. They are just hard to kill, but when they get killed like Y'shaarj was after we purged the land from his Sha and his Heart was gone, he finally faded for good.

Old Gods will be defeated, because the protagonist is The Champion of Azeroth - Murderhobo of the Gods. We kill, for coin.

I made a comparison in such that they don't die easily and not for good.
Even after Y'Shaarj got ripped out of the surface he multiplied and gave birth to the Shas, it is one of his remains.
But as you can see, even a remnant like the heart still holds power, able to corrupt the fountain and give Garrosh tremendous power.

1 - All the big Sha have their own particular personality. They aren't exactly extensions of Y'shaarj. It's a curse made manifest, containing some shadow and bones to have mass.
2 - It's still different from how demons work. You kill an Old God, as far as we know, it remains dead, not going back to anywhere. If you kill a demon, it respawns. One is just too stubborn to die, the other can die multiple times and come back - except if you kill the demon in the Twisting Nether.

This difference is important. It means that there is a way to purge Azeroth from Old Gods without going into the realm of the Void Lords to destroy their Old God factory. We just need some sort of... planetary shield defense system to keep any further Old God alway from Azeroth, otherwise we'll still be at risk of having a Metroid Prime's Leviathan crashing onto us to corrupt Azeroth with their Old God Shit / Phazon.

Is that exactly what Tony Stark suggested as a preemptive measure for Earth against extraterrestrial threats?

Yeah probably. Banking hard on it. Either the titan dies and empowers them enough to be reborn or she is also corrupted seem like likely outcomes, and both would be pretty bad.

One conspiracy theory I have in mind ia what if one of the Titans is secretly aligned with the Old Gods/Void Lords because of the fear that it will be more powerful than all of them, similar to Sargeras though he seek the agency of the demons.

Not if we will encounter him right before Amanthul rips him from the surface of Azeroth tearing him to pieces during the heights of the Black empire.

The king and queen of death, but Sylvanas rules Shadowlands while Bolvar handles the Scourge. I like it. She will be the Queen of Valkyr and perhaps take the role of Helya. She will master death but in return also grants life. Oppssiee..
