ya, ogt stuck on that character creation timed out... before i was getting stuck on retrieving realm list and getting dced... and now realms appear as offline for me

and took me a while to discover that i had to login with WoW4 acc and not WoW1..

How do they actually give streamers prio access?

They gather their IP info or something? Or simply account info?

they for sure have IP info, for account sharing and stuff

they did, the queue was 20,000 at one point
i dont think therre is 20,000 streamers

If any "premium" account logs in and the server is full, it randomly disconnects someone in order to give his slot to the Premium account.

Queue was 2900 max. No where cose to 20k. I've been constantly being disconnected and the max I got was 2.6k but I saw some streamers with almost 3k queue.

They should at least communicate and say "ok stop trying, we just wanted you to wait in queues for 2 hours but have taken server offline".

you login to see a queue that end up in server grey listed or server locked and everytime you hit login it hits you out.

That makes sense, the server queue numbers we see are in no way real.

Server is not offline. Check twitch... There are tons of streamers playing with 40 man raids filled in.

Am I right in saying if you get two WoW account options and one takes you to the offline server screen and the other disconnects, you want to sit at DC servers? Ie. that is the correct account to select?

I was able to get in, attacked a mob, dced

Demo, Beta, Stress Test - the faster players, AND companies understand the difference, the better. This is absolutely what is to be expected from a stress test. Im trying to remember if it was Wildstar or GW2, but they intentionally flooded the game with bots to create unrealistic player counts in certain zones. All they did was run in circles and jump up and down.

They also intentionally crashed the servers dozens of times to ensure the game reloaded ppl to appropriate places (ppl on flightpaths for example didnt just drop out of the air on a relog)

I did my part, i logged in a bunch of times to sit in the queue and get booted. Then had work to do so had to leave. I didnt expect to play the game. This is Blizzards opportunity to test their hardware, not our opportunity to run around having a nostalgia trip.

Sadly it doesnt surprise me anymore to watch streamers play the beta for hours on end, encountering numerous bugs and not reporting a single one.
