No, I got the joke, many on the right wing are NOT pro-free speech, they are misusing the concept so they can trash people on the left that gave up on it, instead on doing what they always did, fight for it, even as a concept. Rubin and Shapiro cried about anti-Semitism while also claiming Islamophobia is made up. there was no defense for anti-BDS activists that got their rights trampled by the state. Richard Spencer openly said the altright is AGAINST free speech, which I always knew, I dealt with right wing censorship for many years before this present culture war stage, I know very well how censorious they are and how they want to shape society.

That being said, in this specific case, there's not much to defend based on free speech principles, because here we have botting and purchasing account interactions - if true. Which is important.

As things stand now, Twitter is both judge and jury. And moral inquisitor. Yes, yes, yes, "their corporation", but I would never agree to such idiocy when it comes to huge corporations offering speech services. There should be oversight and prevention of abusive behavior, i.e. regulations, from the elected officials, i.e. the state.
