I think it would be interesting to see Classic and BFA separated into different categories. The current Twitch WoW title card does specifically say BFA, but not exactly accurate.

This was discussed endlessly at the time
Its better for Blizzard if they are put together was the conclusion
Yeah, if I'm looking for a bunch of mythic+ streamers, I don't want to wade through a maze of classic streams. Same goes if things were the other way around. Besides, Runescape and Old School Runescape separates them.
I'd like to see them seperated yeah
I thought I did, but apparently I don't

If you die you die but if you don't die you still die.
Careful with that attitude around here, friend. Classic is the only thing on the entire planet that is keeping Blizzard going and the moment it releases the retail game will be taken offline forever because Classic is the best game ever released.
Or something like that. Anything that means Classic is better than retail because then all the people who post here that are literally garbage at the game get to use the excuse that they "just don't even care" about retail, which is why they're stuck doing +3's out of time.
hay at least they cant kill my keys when there playing a relic version of the game where the hardest thing was walking to the instance haha
tbh i like it when they talk about "the classic experience" as if it was like skyrim or something like that.........it was 90% auto attacking and auto running whilst fapping to porno and getting fat.
remember not to shower for weeks kids if you want that truuu clazzix xpureiance !!!!
It is absolutely incredible to me that one hundred thousand people tuned in to watch epic Classic content from Asmongold, who lives like this:
It's wild when you think that the people on these forums with tens of thousands of posts are probably even worse.
Hahaha yep. I actually played the Beta to make sure I wasn't mis-remembering how easy it was - nope, literally the equivalent of mobile clicker games in terms of engagement. You move to the next mob, right click, wait, move to the next mob, right click, wait. The endgame isn't much better since most class "rotations" are spamming frostbolt or shadow bolt over and over and over until the boss dies. Even all the "complexity" people talk about for healers with downranking spells etc basically boils down to using rank 2 or 3 of one spell as filler between casts of the max rank one. It's a joke and I honestly can't wait for it to launch so that all of these people drop out of retail and stop making shit threads like "raider io should be banned" for good haha.

but thats the true classic experience!!!! literally spending 90% of you're time grinding so you can spend a few hrs raiding whilst neglecting basic human needs like washing.

I'm betting they won't tho because twitch is garbage.
Hi Sephurik
I'm not sure why people think this is wildly out of the ordinary. The viewership stats you've linked for the timeframe relating to Classic Beta don't exclude the standard views for BFA, so they aren't really reflective specifically of interest in Classic. Regardless, the annoucement of Classic spikes interest from anyone who quit WoW over the last 15 years and thought "hey, maybe that would be interesting". The true measure of Classic's success is whether it can actually retain any of those people, and I really don't think it will. If people quit WoW and have stayed away, the last thing they're going to want to do 15 years later is go back to the "second life" style of game design that existed for MMO's back then.
It's not like Skyrim's combat/gameplay is particularly hard or engaging either =P
If you like the current game then go use your time playing it, instead of wasting it talking shit about a game you don't like. You shouldn't need validation from others that the game you like is good, or that it's potential competitor(s) are bad, to be able to enjoy it. It's ok to not like things, just don't be a dick about it
because theres nothing else on, its the dead part of the year and even now out side wow fansites no one cares, there hasn't even been a kotaku shit post about classics lack of non binary diversity or some shit.
call again when it competing with the new doom, cyberpunk, new darkest dungeons, gears 5, e.t.c which is what it will be competing against when it releases.
