1. Would like to see the site get back to mostly be about gaming.

I agree, just perma ban anyone who mentions 1 political thing, then create mmo-politics, tell everyone who wants to talk about that stuff to go there, then abandon it no mods no nothing just leave the people there to rot.

edit: no-one can tell me to avoid politics i have that section turned off, but it seeps into every off-topic thread and even WoW threads.

Love all the comments asking if Magic Find is China based -- because after reading this post I could not help but think MMO-C was hacked in some way. Magic Find's post was entirely devoid of context, meaning, and thought, like a Chinaman wrote it.

I figured that was a cesspool by design, and have had that unchecked from the topic update on the main page since I created this account.

2. Disagree. If this site becomes a bunch of stuff about games that I don't care about, then I'll just leave and not come back. Other MMO's are flashes in the pot. The best arguement you can make is for Final Fantasy, but what's the point?

If MMO C doesn't try to compete with other game sites offering information, then they won't be visited. Why would you want to turn a site that specializes in WoW, and then turn it on other games? So WoW gets lets attention and the main purpose of the core visitors leave because the content is worse?

There's no racism or trolls unless their views disagree with the mods. Get rid of the mods first and then get ones who will actually take action.

I won't be involved in the website, but for full disclosure I am an investor in Magic Find, and the team includes people who have worked on MMO-Champion since 2007.

I'm extremely grateful that Fandom helped us preserve the community and I'm sure the team will have more updates soon

Every time they added a section for a brand new MMO, the game failed completely. Maybe it's an omen, maybe MMO as a genre is dying, maybe WoW is still far too powerful to compete with in a ever thinning niche, maybe its Maybelline.

Wasn't really talking about forums. Just news and info generally. It's a strong point of the site. The all-the-eggs-are-in-one basket approach is fine since Blizzard has a very large basket but there's a lot more going on in the gaming world than just Blizzard and diversifying a bit would be in sync with the way the site is named. The News section is what originally brought me to the site and it's still the one thing I read pretty carefully every time a new post is put up.

I’d like to see more coverage of other MMO news outside of WoW to help fill those long gaps in real WoW “news”. Coverage of FFXIV or Elder Scrolls just to name a couple.
