Isn't there a passage in the Bible that it's not what goes into your mouth that makes you unclean, it's what comes out of your mouth? He should read that passage.

No, I wouldn't trade my soul for anything (even if it were possible).

No, I do not believe eating artificial food has any effect on the state of your soul.
(Apart from anyone having emotional issues with the origin thereof, but that is a psychological issue specific to them.)

I usually think these kinds of taste tests are a publicity stunt more than anything. You can also find people who can tell immediately that it's not meat. I'd rather taste it myself before judging, although with these plant based meat substitutes I'm always worried about too much carbs and not enough protein.

End Times broadcaster Rick Wiles warned on his “TruNews” program last night that the rise of companies like Impossible Foods, which is developing plant-based alternatives to meat and dairy products, is part of a satanic plot to alter human DNA so that people can no longer worship God.

“When you go to your favorite fast food restaurant, you are going to be eating a fake hamburger,” Wiles said. “You’re going to go to the grocery store and buy a pound of fake hamburger or a fake steak, and you won’t know that it was grown in some big corporation’s laboratory. This is the nightmare world that they are taking us into. They’re changing God’s creation. Why? Because they want to be God.”

    Hmm maybe.

Yeah he makes good points. Just because it's not meat it doesn't mean it's healthier than meat.

Not into the whole religion or spiritualism crap. So hard yes. I'd gladly go for a more ecologically sustainable vegan meat alternative if they ever actually became palatable.

There is no way I am eating that shit. It is so full of soy, chemicals and additives . I would rather eat rotten meat.

Every time I see or hear of a ginger I am reminded of my ex gfs strange dysotopian fantasies about rounding up gingers and forcing them to breed to replenish the world with gingers. I don't even know if that would work scientifically... Plus that's why we have Ireland.

She was obsessed with gingers and them supposedly vanishing from the gene pool.

I think that was for the Israelites in the Old Testament, and I'm assuming this guy would call himself a Christian. I don't know anything about him, but most of these types of things usually come from super-fanatical Christians.

Don't know what they put in that lab grown meat. If its not meat, its a mix of junk to make it taste like meat and no guarantees that mix is actually healthy.
Lab grown meat is just that. Meat. Protein. It's meat cells grown in a lab in a nutrient solution.

It's nothing really strange to it. I can guarantee you that your average Cheeto or hot dog has more weird shit in it.

Hell, if you live in the US, much the meat you eat isn't even considered fit for human consumption in the rest of the world.

Souls are a construct of humans to guilt other humans into giving money to large, international corporations.

    Turkey isn't real meat?

  19. #39
When you do a blind taste test with just the meat most people will be able to tell the difference immediately. Once you dress it up with a bun and other condiments it becomes less obvious. They also are not healthier in any aspects as far as I can tell. But if for some reason I chose not to eat meat or could not eat it for some reason this would be a decent alternative. I fear a time though, for one reason or another were these alternative food items replace the originals.

Not for a hamburger it's not. It must be 100% beef and no fillers, no turkey, no soy, no tofu.
