Dropped Parasyte the Maxim. They kept dragging out the dialogue. "Okay, the monsters is about to reach and kill us in ten seconds, you need to let me do my thing or we both die"
There's another scene where the characters are apparently mindblown by basic statements.
Protagonist: "No!"
Hand: "This is an unfavorable environment to fight in! I need to..."

I'm watching Log Horizon, and it has been extremely enjoyable. It has really great dub, so many fantastic lines. It sometimes runs into the same problem as Parasyte the Maxim where a scene is dragged out as information is repeated.

Shiro: "They're waiting for us to leave town to attack us."
Little girl: "So when we leave town, they're going to attack us?"
Shiro: "When we leave town, they'll attack us, so you need to..."

...

Marielle: "The big guilds are snatching up low level and beginner players and coercing into giving up their EXP potions. It's terrible!"
Shiro stands in the shadow for a few seconds dramatically.
Shiro: "Preying on the weak... how evil."


That said, Log Horizon has only done about two times thus far, whereas Parasyte the Maxim couldn't go ten minutes without it happening. Plus, Log Horizon has far and away more interesting characters (again, props to the dub!) and plot.

I am still sad that Log Horizon will probably not see a season 3 for quite a while if at all.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is on Netflix now with a new dub but because licensing issues there is no Fly me to the moon ED.
