How lucky have you guys been with the Benthic gear Prismatic Socket Gem procs? And did you get the stat version you wanted?

I was extremely lucky on the first quest and got this (stats i wanted and a prismatic socket on top of that):

You can do Nazjatar in all your alts and send Benthic gear to your main...until the Prismatic socket procs.

I managed to get ALL Benthic gear slots with a gem socket The waist was the hardest one at 8 tries. The rest i got pretty fast.

TBH its not as bad as titanforge, the initial pieces are cheap so you can burn through a few easily and once you have the one you want you're set. Got the ones I was after within one or two goes

This gear only goes to 400 ilvl, right? Normal gear from the new raid is 415, and I assume Mythic gear got an ilvl boost too (or will eventually?).

This is just junky catch-up gear so you can quickly gear up and do the new content. Why would you get so invested in whether or not you got lucky with upgrades on garbage gear meant to simply catch people up who haven't played since the last tier?

And while i was spending all my Manapearls to try and get the Bracers with the stats i wanted...i got another Prismatic Socket proc...but with stats i didnt want
But i think i will level up this one instead.

Is that so? My initial stance on the entire patch so far is that I fucking hate it, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're actually going to make the beater gear somehow relevant via enough grinding.

That's been a thing on any gear you might get from World quests for awhile now, same gripe, wish they let us chose the secondaries cause well I get grumpy when it isn't X secondaries.


So note this isn't a new problem, it's just been there for awhile.

In one building there is Jaina
On the other building there are several guys that look like fish. Its the one vendor in the middle

You need to upgrade the gear to item level 425 though...but try and get the 385 version with gem sockets.

You buy the gear at 385 from vendor

You can upgrade the gear near to the portal to Boralus...there is one of those dudes made out of bandages. Under his name you can read "BENTHIC UPGRADES"

You can upgrade your 385 items on this NPC....up to 425.
