Destroying any evidence that can be used in a criminal trial is considered obstruction of justice, if I recall correctly. Nothing worse than shooting yourself in the foot.

Oh, he's very much still a scumbag, but who knows if he gets an opportunity. So far, much like Louis CK, he hasn't been found guilty of any wrong doing by a court of justice, so he's still entitled to be employed if someone chooses to do so. Sure, he's still a shitty scumbag like Louis CK as well, but there are people who still find those kinds of people entertaining.
