Except for the most hardcore of people (aka world first types) who are using leveling guides and will be level capped pretty quickly most people aren't going to be raiding for atleast a month or more. Between hitting 60 and just farming up the first set of res gear and getting 40 people attuned and geared, don't be in a rush cause it's going to take a while.

I'm a "mythic raider" and I have not set a single foot in LFR since Cataclysm.... LFR gear is useless because there are no class set anymore

If you haven't done LFR at least a couple times per patch you're definitely a casual compared to the people who partake in world firsts, ie those that need to hurry to level 60 in Classic.
