The Equalizer 2. Really enjoyed the first one, Denzel is a top tier actor.

In theaters? Will probably be It Chapter 2.

At home? Not really sure, I generally watch movies more on a spur of the moment. Most newer movies I want to see I see when they're in theaters.

The new Terminator, I'm waiting for it.

At home, probably John Wick 3. In theaters, I dunno, maybe Rambo:Last Blood, it comes out this month and is the most likely option if I go see anything.

In cinema rambo, joker, jumanji this year (hopefully can avoid being family-zoned into seeing next star wars puke movie...

Overall I don't think 2019 is a good movie year...nor will 2020 be with the possible exception of Dune.

    I'm not excited until 2021...
Avatar, Jurassic World 3, Deadpool 3, Attack of the killer tomatoes...

I keep meaning to catch Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Tarantino's recent films have been a mixed bag IMO, but he's always worth seeing in theaters for the cinematography if nothing else.

The films are decent adaptions, but they aren't a patch on the books.

Really looking forward to watching The Irishman. Directed by Martin Scorsese. Staring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci and Harvey Keitel. This is the film I've been waiting for since Casino in 1995!

    Jurassic World 3,
Wait, wait...you say 2019 is a bad movie year(I agree, it's not great) but then admit to being excited for a movie that is a sequel to Jurassic World, which kinda sucked, and Jurassic World 2, which sucked so much ass it made the previous weak Jurassic World look like a fucking masterpiece?

I wish I could watch an atmospheric horror movie that doesn't suck that I haven't already seen. Or a psychological movie. Those are my favorite.

I have no plans though. A movie has to be presented to me and the stars have to align for me to decide to watch it. I don't actively watch movies.

Jurassic World "did not suck", it kicked ass! I-Rex was one bad mutha!

Dinosaur movies, in general, though, yeah they all suck, but you are supposed to watch them as guilty pleasure

    RaaaaaaAAAAaaawwwrrr!!!!!

Nobody goes to watch a movie about fat lizards and expects outstanding acting...

I think people put the original on a pedestal, I certainly do, but in so doing I admit its full of stupid crap, sadly many think its some flawless gem to follow n they see all the cracks in the other movies..
JP was a good movie, the 2nd was awful, the 3rd even worse but at least had the awesome Spinosaurus in it..
JP is liked because of nostalgia...for how new the technology was when it came out and how it was recieved...

JP had so many dumb things I could make a long list of them..."life finds a way" so scientists that did the insane amount of work to bring a dinosaur to life from nothing didn't know about some damn frogs, they just threw in random shit?...they aren't "mad scientists" they are highly professional experts but movie needs to further the plot so fuck it...
The hunter (Muldoon) who handles the raptors is out-played by raptor-strategy which was known to someone (Alan Grant) who didn't interact with them, but dug up their bones..."clever girl" more like asstarded hunter...
John Hammond puts his grand-kids in jeopardy by having them test out the park while he is nervous af what could happen...
Apparently the t-rex who is dumber than a rock decided at just that time to try out the electric fence (its freaking raining, water+electricity) because why not?...and apparently he is a mountin-climbing t-rex too since he somehow climbed up from the place he later throws down a car into that tree...as for how that car powers through in a straight down-wards line..
T-Rex is unable to power through a window to get the kids...I mean...come on...sure it was scary n awesome in the cinema, but god it's stupid..was that glass made out of adamantium?..Maybe they should have used that glass to build the fences around the park?
How the heck does a dilophosaurus fit into the passenger seat of a jeep its such a stupid way for Nedry to die..
I could go on and on...

As for JW, well, it did its job, cool dinos, and a next-step what happens with that technology (jp 2 did the dumb godzilla idea, and jp3, well that was just stupid from start to finish). It made sense that if a dino-outbreak happens, it's by a clever af vicious predator like the I-Rex, we got starlord doing indiana-dino-jones thing, we got the Sea-Reptile Mosasaurus (while overblown in size) was something new in threat should it ever get out (dinos are easy to find) as it does in JW2 (i feel sorry for all the whales n orcas it will hunt down...
    Claire is a milf
Kids are annoying, but then so were the ones in JP
Hoskins representing the military angle, while in JP the whole freaking powers that be in the world let john hammond play god without insight nor interest...You would irl expect teams of mercenaries storming the island to steal technology..but everyone lets hammond do his thing, all he gets is some whiny investors and that's it..

I'm looking forward to JW because Colin Trevorrow is back in the driver's seat, I apprecieate J.A. Bayona being a good director but he transitioned badly to dino action blockbuster genre...good that is directing good horror stuff but he could have done so much more with the Indo-Raptor, died off too quickly, and he could have put it into better n slower scenes...JW2 felt too short..

Yes, there was dumb stuff in the first one too, although some of the things you cite can be excused. Mercs raiding the island? Most people didn't know what Hammond was doing there. You think mercs are gonna go to the trouble of smuggling their gear into Costa Rica, launching a mission from there(which is gonna require either bringing in choppers or requisitioning them), on the off chance Hammond has something worth stealing rather than just building what was supposedly an amusement park? It's not like Hammond was announcing what he was doing there. The T-Rex doesn't have to be a mountain climber, the fall(the car crashing straight down was dumb) wasn't super far, and it's certainly possible the terrain rises and falls less steeply in some areas, it's not necessarily sheer all the way around. The t-rex as you said is dumb, who's to say it doesn't try out the fence regularly? Yeah, the timing was very convenient for the story, but that's not to say it was totally out of character for the animal. The dilophosaurs were just straight up wrong, in both the book and the movie so yeah, that part was dumb, but so was everything involving them(including in the book). Also amusing, the velociraptors aren't velociraptors, real velociraptors wee much smaller. The ones in the movie/book were actually deinonychus, Chichton even admits it, he just liked the velociraptor name more so he used it instead. As for Hammond bringing his kids out there, that was dumb, but that was sorta the point-Hammond was arrogant, he was playing God and not considering the consequences.
