You can't hit stuff higher level than you, why is that a fanboy statement?

  3. #43
OP is right, even green enemies will parry/dodge like bitches

Can't even read correctly and talking people needing to "learn" :/

Get hit/talents and skill your weapons up = profit.

How does getting gear and outleveling mobs have anything to do with "getting good"?

And you being hater is better how?

Also, if you want better combat experience, stop fighting mobs 5+ levels above you. Classic isn't the afk leveling approach Retail is.

Combat Experience in Retail while leveling (even hitting mobs 5 levels above you):

    AoE, AoE

That's it. Done. Wow, what a difficult and extremely rewarding experience!! /eyeroll

Yeah, good luck find +hit chance item at level 40, dumby.

tbf. Even mobs lower than yourself can pull off a 10 parry/dodge streak

    LIKE WTF BLIZZARD

EDIT : for the dumb fanboys who just read the OP and want to enlighten everyone with their knowledge, i have max weapon skill and fight enemies 1-2 levels more than me.
Try mobs at your level or one below. Welcome to classic!

The higher level the mobs are the lower your chance to hit them will be, Green mobs are your bread and butter especially as a Melee class. It is rough until you get some hit rating for sure. Also on bosses being behind the mobs if you are a DPS.

This. Even mobs that are only 1-2 higher levels than you can avoid your damage a lot. Hell, even mobs your own level can get a lucky string of parries/dodges/resists or whatever else. It's how Classic works.

This isn't BfA, where you can deck yourself out in heirlooms and solo big pulls or easily take stuff that's 3-4 levels (or more) higher than you are.

Well it does demonstrate that you know how combat in the game works.

It is not really worth fighting mobs above your level as melee if speed is your goal while leveling.
The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

Until you get into the late game where you can start to get "hit" gear, you kind of just have to fight enemies who are 1-2 levels lower than you, if you don't want to see those insanely annoying streaks of block/dodge/miss/parry :P. Only way to do it!

The thing is that you guys doesn't seem to understand is that, if hitting the mobs is you issue and you're not level 60 - you're doing something wrong.

    lvl: 1-59 - You're doing something wrong.
    lvl: 60 - Get 9% hit.

    Easy as that.

Is someone trying to level as DW fury?

That's not a direct conclucion, can also mean that you only do what others told you. I would expect less than 0,1% of the playerbase know how the combat table works.
