Call me cynical, but if I was backing Trump's trade war, I would probably blame failing farms on environmental regulations, too.

Yeah, so, Perdue, who was Senate approved despite multiple conflicts of interest to the tune of $25 million in agribusiness holdings, is telling small farmers to their face that they're going to lose their job. I'm sure that's exactly what they wanted to hear after most of the socialist bailout money went to large agribusinesses.

Are we tired of winning yet?
Is trump trying to lose Wisconsin? Might as well show up to lambeau in a bears jersey.

But in all seriousness this is the shit that will hurt him bad, if there is one thing i know about my state its we don't like you insulting our farmers.

It's indicative of the entire horror of Trump's cult following. They meet the qualifications for several different types of mental disorders - including insanity and sociopath. Trump himself is almost certainly a sociopath, if not true psychopathy. Not to mention all the other disorders he objectively meets.

People have already been hurt by Trump's rhetoric. It's how long until they strike again. And with the way things are going I hope Schiff and Pelosi have a good security detail keeping them safe and checking their mail. They're probably #2 and #3 on Trumper hitlists. The Whistleblower fortunately remains unknown, for now, but he's probably top of the list.

If we're going to set the bar for "hurt" at "anything more serious than some punching/kicking", then the question is easy to answer, really.

    -1141 days.

August 17, 2016, a white supremacist named Daniel Rowe stabbed a black guy, after heading to the city to attack BLM activists. He was acting out based on Trump's rhetoric, by his own statements to police. https://komonews.com/news/local/afri...k-lives-matter

Little over three years ago, is when. We're already years into the violence.

Too late for the victims in El Paso, Pittsburgh, Dayton, Christchurch, and Charlotte. Fortunately the none of the magabomber's devices went off.

Actually, I read that as trying to save Wisconsin, well, farmers in general.

This is just more gaslighting. "You're not losing your livelihood because of the trade war," Perdue tells them while pocketing big agribusiness money, "you were always going to lose it anyhow, there's nothing I, the Secretary of Agriculture, could possibly do. This is America. You want to be loyal to America, don't you? Vote Trump."

Trump asking for foreign help in an election, to clear him self of seeking foreign help during an election? That’s...

Do you ever read the articles you quote: "it appears it was published in 2016 on HuffPost, a website usually critical of the President. But it is not correct."

"The blog post was republished on HuffPost in December 2016. While the map on Galka's personal blog may have been updated -- the map in his article has the correct colors for each county -- the map on Huffpost is incorrect."

The numbers are in. For real this time.

Trump's economy beat expectations of private sector job growth by adding 135,000 jobs in September, over the 125,000 expected.

    "Yeah! MAGA!"

Which is lower than the 145,000 average he's gotten in the last 3 months.

    "U S A! U S...eh?"

Which in turn, is lower than the 158,000 average he's had in 2019.

    "Um..but --"

Also, the "natural resources/mining" industry lost three thousand jobs. Last month.

The Sept prediction was super low because of all those revisions he's seen, so beating them really isn't all that special. It's yet another disappointing result, dragging his yearly average down.

    "But...I mean, September is a bad month -- "

It was 214,000 last September. So that implies job growth just dropped thirty-seven percent.

Businesses have turned more cautious in their hiring. Small businesses have become especially hesitant. If businesses pull back any further, unemployment will begin to rise.
By the way, even if we use the highest number in this post -- 214,000 per month from last September -- for every single month until Jan 2025, Trump still wouldn't get the 25 million jobs he promised. Even with unrealistic data, he'd be short. Or, better, IMPOTUS.

And what did I post that was factually incorrect? In no way what I posted was a defense for Trump.

Something is on the way that could derail Trump's peace plan -- whatever that is, we still don't know the details -- even further.

    Netanyahu's grand jury.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political and personal future hangs in the balance this week, as a pretrial hearing weighing whether to indict him on corruption charges kicked off.

Following the four-day hearing which begun on Wednesday, Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit will decide whether to indict Israel’s longest serving prime minister on fraud and bribery charges in three corruption cases.

The start of the hearing came after talks to form a unity government after last month's election ended in stalemate hit a further snag on Tuesday when Netanyahu’s rival, Blue and White party leader Benny Gantz, called off a meeting between the two leaders slated for Wednesday.

The meeting was meant to be a last-ditch attempt by Netanyahu to cobble together a unity government between his right-wing Likud and the centrist Blue and White party. But in a statement published Tuesday Blue and White said the preconditions for future meetings between the negotiating teams had not been met.

In one of the three cases due to be heard in the coming days, Netanyahu is accused of granting regulatory favors to the controlling shareholder of Israel’s telecom giant Bezeq in exchange for positive coverage on its subsidiary news site, Walla.

In a second case, Netanyahu and his family are accused of receiving lavish presents from supporters in return for passing legislation that ensures Israelis who come back to live in Israel from abroad are exempt from paying taxes for 10 years.

The third case alleges that Netanyahu offered advantageous legislation to a major newspaper in return for favorable coverage.
I'm not all that familiar with the Israeli governing system, but I have been trying to follow the specifics here. Forgive and correct me if I'm wrong, but, it seems that Netanyahu might not get "re-appointed" PM, due to a mix of his party not having a majority even with allies, and of course these corruption charges brought by his own government.

Netanyahu has been courting Trump as an ally for some time, even holding presentations in large font about how Iran is the worst and making nukes and isn't Trump just the best, you should stay at his hotels! But it looks like that partnership isn't necessarily going to bear fruit, since besides taking Jerusalem unilaterally from the Palestinians, no specifics of Trump's peace plan have been made public, his strongest ally on the subject resigned, his second strongest might be thrown out of government and possibly into jail, and has anyone heard from Kushner lately?
