    This is absolutely correct.

The GOP didn't care about children held in dog cages until they died. The Democrats had to call them out.

The GOP didn't care about W's war crimes. The Democrats had to call them out.

And, yes, the GOP is making a big deal about Biden, three years after they knew about it, and the EU knew about it, and the IMF knew about it, and apparently some of them signed a letter about it, and all of a sudden "Whoa! That stuff we knew about for years? We've suddenly decided it's worth an investigation!"

The hypocrisy of the GOP is on full display. I completely agree with you.

    Why should i?

    Investigate Biden AND Trump.

But, clearly, trying to get Trump with impeachment now will get you nowhere. At least if Trump's DoJ actually finds something on Biden that can be potentially actionable.

If there was credible evidence to start an investigation into Biden then the DOJ would have already started an investigation into Biden and Trump wouldn't need to try bribing foreign governments to do it.

Literally this whole shitshow is because the DOJ didn't have a reason to investigate Biden.

And now, Trump's attempt at logic.

So Crooked Hillary Clinton can delete and acid wash 33,000 emails AFTER getting a Subpoena from the United States Congress, but I can’t make one totally appropriate telephone call to the President of Ukraine? Witch Hunt!

Let's examine this. Trump seems to be trying to equate the two in terms of illegality. He also...wait, hold on.

    Our Ruling

Trump said, "You (Hillary Clinton) get a subpoena, and after getting the subpoena you delete 33,000 emails."

Clinton’s staff received a subpoena for Benghazi-related emails March 4. An employee managing her server deleted 33,000 of Clinton’s emails three weeks later.

The FBI found no evidence that the emails were deleted deliberately to avoid the subpoena or other requests. Clinton’s team requested for the emails to be deleted months before the subpoena came. They also argued that all the emails that would be relevant to the subpoena had already been turned over to the State Department.

We rate Trump’s claim Half True.
Okay. Anyhow, let's think about this:

    1) We have Trump's own edited transcript in which he asks the Ukrainian President to hunt down CrowdStrike, which we all know means that hypothetical server where DNC hacked itself and then blamed Russia. Or at least, that's what the conspiracy theory Trump is clinging to like a $130,000 whore says.

    2) Which means Trump thinks But Her Emails are worth investigation. Old news, but bear with me

    3) Which, by the equivalence he's tweeting above, means he also thinks is worth investigation.

And speaking of "witch hunt", Sen. Collins calls out Trump for yelling "I am a witch!" in front of reporters.

I thought the president made a big mistake by asking China to get involved in investigating a political opponent. ... It’s completely inappropriate,
Finally, let's address the Schiff issue. There's a movement going around to vote on some kind of "How Dare He Lie?" hypocrisy chastizement, which Collins also brought up:

misrepresented and misled people about what was in the transcript in the call
So, is the problem misrepresenting the call? Because I know someone who also misrepresented the call. Should we vote on that, too?

I am probably for some of the things you are, including single-payer healthcare and student loan forgiveness (in certain circumstances).
Then you're using the term improperly, to try and shame Democrats for something that they should be proud of.

All you're really saying is that you don't like it. Well, don't vote for them, then. There's no need to apply labels that don't apply because it's convenient partisan slander.

    Social reforms aren't "freebies".

And the idea that they're "unconstitutional" is ridiculous.

You're just displaying your own partisanship.

Yeah, it is quite sad. You would find that kind of sentiment much less where I am from, simply because we already practice a form of capitalism that is a bit more 'socialist' if you so will. The same is probably true in other coordinated market economies. But I guess states that are even more hardline capitalist tend to have people that react much more strongly against such influences.

Sadly, that all is pretty much institutionalized in the US, or rather, it is a liberal market economy from the ground up, so making any changes there is hard and would breed resentment. That's especially true for those with power and money, in part because it is that very system that made or kept them rich. Heck, Trump himself is a prime example of that. He'd always be against the US becoming more socialist, for that might directly or indirectly threaten his livelihood. Or whatever counts as 'livelihood' for the super rich.

It is almost like this is blatantly impeachable and easy to explain to the American people why what Trump did is criminal.

Again you haven’t been paying attention. This impeachable offense is actually provable. And they’ve been trying to get articles of impeachment passed for years.

Investigating private citizens because they politically oppose you is pretty up there among the most dangerous things a president can do. Some will even say it's... Impeachable.

Its OK though. The Dems are here to protect your 1st Amendment rights.

Can you explain how this impeachment, which brought up the Biden accusation, is helping Biden? I get if you say it helps Warren or Bernie, but Bidens numbers are down since this started. Your conspiracy theory doesn’t seem to have the results you claim...

I brought that up a page or two ago, but yeah. Has anyone explained to him that criticizing him is not a crime no matter how much he wishes it was?

He wants so badly to be a dictator. He wants to be like his friends Putin and Kim Jong-Un.
