Worst experience in Classic so far?

Pretty easy one. My guild mates trying to sabotage the live guild by encouraging players to not log on so the handful could play Classic instead, eventually leading to a drama fueled exodus and setting our progression back probably 2+ months as we replace them.

I want to like this game, but ever since Private servers, I can't help but feel like everyone who touches this game turns toxic.
I don't know what it is, but it just always turns into this Us v Them thing, and I'm just done with it.

Very relatable, almost exactly the same with my guild.

And I don't mean to step on any toes here but alot of the now classic crowd seems to sit on such high horses it's ridiculous.

The people who smugly whispers you stuff like " Welcome to Classic " or similar whenever you die from overpulling, I get it dying while questing happens alot more in Classic but is it necessary to be complete troglodytes about it and act as if everyone who dies haven't played Classic before?

Yes its anecdotal and it is the vast minority of people who act like it, but my oh my does it makes me want to tell them to fuck off and be a troglodyte somewhere else, of course I don't because I have no interest in being banned for verbal abuse or something.

Not focusing on it, the others are. I simply brought up the question if spirit actually does something for the person in combat. I then brought up the comparison about a Hunter or Rogue Need rolling on something with strength. The stats on that would be beneficial to them as well, but not as much as another class.
The flip side to your response now becomes, does any piece with stam on it automatically become tank gear?

No, for the same reason we're not focusing on the spirit. But if highest stat is stam, for lower dungeons that's probably something a tank will want.

I got into a group with some private server players the other day and it was very unpleasant. They were angry, bitter, racist and overall toxic.

It was bound to happen sooner or later I just wish that they would've stayed on their unmoderated hate servers and let us normal people enjoy classic.

Yeah they were nagging about how things in the dungeon wasn't like how it was on a certain private server and claimed that Blizzard was making changes to the game in order to make it easier for "retail babies"

I think it’s good when people behave the way they really want to behave. It’s an interesting study to see what people do when they are not afraid of the social structures. Sure people are damn annoying but at least they are acting the way they truely want to

That sucks but it is true that it's bis for them, just as is HoJ for the AP. Hunters don't need a lot of hit

Not until Agi enchants come in the game. They're not in the game > Peacemaker is better. Huntards truly living up to their name.

Buttery smooth leveling as a hunter but then being bored as balls at 60 with its lame rotation.

You sacrifice endgame enjoyment for a quick ticket to max level.


Also twice in a row that turtle escort quest in tanaris was started early right before I could get it autoshared and man that felt cruddy

Perfectly ok. Maybe try the game again when some new phases come out and there's more to do.

Why would I bother? I've already been there and done it all before.

The content itself was a very minor part of the overall complaint. It's secondary to the huge variance in performance, the poor itemisation and talents and the complete lack of class mechanics. Combined with the reality that there is nothing I can do about them makes for a poor overall experience. As much as I hate to admit it, doing MC as a Holy Paladin was more interesting than as a Warlock.

More content doesn't really change the fact that the gameplay experience is terrible, it just allows for it to be terrible in more places.

Dude, based on your posts you shoved 240 hours of leveling into three weeks; even if you were 30% faster than the norm you're playing eight hours a day. The only people in the same level range are folding the game in on itself to move forward as fast as they can to — to what? As you've discovered, not much because everything else has been AOE'd through.

I'm not saying you're not feeling what you say you are, or that Classic is no match for the modern WoW grinder. But in absolute terms, I mean, you skipped past the game and you can't find any game left. You've just won a pie-eating contest and you're saying the mere thought of peach cobbler makes you sick. Yeah, no crap.

Dude I feel the same way. And I'm a hunter too.
Leveling was a blast. I had a great time. The world is huge, the rpg elements are amazing, getting upgrades from quests was fun, etc.

But max level content is just.. a slog. I spent 4h in a brd only to not get the quests I was looking to get done finished because the people who put together the group advertised "full run" but left as soon as they got what they were looking for. Then spent another 4h in a MC. Which was just... Boring. It wasn't a terrible run and I even got loot, but it was not enjoyable in the slightest.

I really hope blizzard can take the best of both worlds and make a really good expansion.

Are you sure to ment to quote me? I was complaining about my Class being boring and frustrating to play in a raid - To the point where I Alt + F4 ed out and haven't played Classic since. It's completely unrelated to anything you're saying.
