it seems in Goblin Heritage scenario Gallywix is owerthrown and probably Gazlowe will take his place.
He was missing after SoO 2.0 (he was burning papers before siege) and he was supporter of Sylvanas
btw. some text from datamining (probably vulpera scenario) mentions that Baine is new Warchief of the Horde

Another imposter? No, this one will be real and we or Sylvanas will reunite with him at some point in the Shadowlands. He might even become a boss in a raid or a dungeon in 9.0 or later. Heritage armor questline seems like a big waste of such unique character model. Originally Posted by Dakhath

Seems like a waste of resources, in hindsight, to create such a unique model for Gallywix just to kill him off in the same expansion the model was implemented.

For a short moment the Goblin PC was set up to be the actual racial leader, until Gallywix enslaved everyone. You go to confront him with Thrall, who simply reinstates him after you all fight. Of course that was for the sake of continuity, since the players can't lead a group without them being stuck in limbo. Originally Posted by Sesto
