    I love the shield and also the weapons/amor always look better in game at least to me they have.

    The weapons this xpac have been absolutely awful. The lone exception might be some of the alliance warfront ones (horde ones are dull and lifeless).

    This has always been an issue with weapon textures. The more surface area a weapon has, the more stretched its textures look. They're already using the maximum texture resolutions allowed by the engine (currently), but the same limits are in place for weapons regardless of type.

    Though they also tend to look worse in the model viewers than in-game. The texture scaling in the game looks a quite a bit smoother.
