From wowhead:
"Ny'alotha, the sleeping city, has awakened. For the first time in millennia, N'Zoth sits on his throne within the Black Empire. His armies flood from their dark halls, once again wreaking havoc on Azeroth. As the world shudders from these invasions, a desperate plan is hatched. Champions from the Horde and Alliance are gathered to face this ancient enemy within his own realm for one final confrontation that will decide the fate of the universe."
Kel'Thuzad was kicked out of the Kirin Tor for necromancy before he went to Northrend.
And he didn't ever become a Death Knight. Therefore, Mage.
As for 9.0, I'm expecting it to be in the same vein as Legion and BFA; a melting pot where they chuck in as many story threads as possible to get rid of them all at once.
Therefore, the next expansion will be a war between all the different aspects of Death and the Void Lords on the Dragon Isles, and will end with us killing off both.
Then we turn our attention to Light and Life for the expansion after that.

It became clear that it wasn’t realistic to try to get the audience back to being more hardcore, as it had been in the past. -- Tom Chilton
Our player characters are insane when you think about it.
There's this one moment at the end of the Lich King fight in ICC that they haven't been able to top, when the Lich King realizes the champions fighting against him are bigger "monsters" than he is.
"Now I stand, the lion before the lambs, and they do not fear."
"They cannot fear."
I hope we get another moment like that, where there isn't some Deus Ex (although Tirion/Ashbringer was one in that fight as well) or plot twist or escaping by the skin of our teeth, but the final boss just realizing he's going to die to our characters.
I am not sure what sort of expansion I am wanting. I am open to anything and everything regarding story and setting, there are a lot of open plot threads. Although I would like to see:
1) A final pair of allied races.
2) A new class with a new Healing spec
3) An artifact (if they are going to give us one) that matters.

I mean in that case if we can't have any overlap whatsoever why do we have Death Knights and Demon Hunters? Death Knights stole Death Coil from Warlocks, and Demon Hunters straight up stole an entire spec from Warlocks.
Besides, Unholy is about stacking charges on a Ghoul to turn it into a Monstrosity. It's the definition of a "pet spec." If Necromancer isn't using pets in the traditional sense, no need to have a "pet spec."
FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)
when do they usually reveal the Blizzcon schedule?
