I can't say I share your enthusiasm for street violence. In my experience, people that think punches, kicks, and melee weapons are no big deal are usually people that have zero experience with violence.

You mistake my enthusiasm for just stating the reality of what happens every day. There was a football game in my city today. There was an upset and the underdog won. People were taunting and shouting at each other over it. As the shouting escalated, people began shoving, and eventually punching each other. Tensions run high when people feel very passionately about something.

It's not enthusiasm. Just stating an inevitability. People in my city were assaulted today... over a football game. It happens over a plethora of dumb issues constantly, every day in the US. Does that make it right? No. But people are dumb apes. And naturally, being able to see this behavior nearly constantly, the ones who throw the punch first aren't the ONLY ones in the wrong. The ones who get punched are typically people taunting, flaunting, and in general trolling the shit out of someone else. They DELIBERATELY get the opposition riled up, and they do so fully realizing what they are doing and what it can lead to.

The alt right is well known for its growing pile of murders in the US, but they are not wholly innocent, as they are often taunting and instigating a fight a lot of the time.

You see someone who's mad, you don't get in their face and scream "HAHA LOSER LIBCUCK, GET CUCKED MAGA TRUMP 2040!"

And yes, I know, people who are well tempered don't hit others either. But people have tempers, and seeing someone mad and taunting them relentlessly doesn't exactly lend itself to being completely innocent in such a situation.
