Because the text and image were placed in blank areas of a "vendor" template.

It's also not confirmed the image was placed at the same time as the text.

Except the discrepancy is shown by the Bolvar image having been added to the cutout of a larger image. If it was just a cropped image of the original of an edited "vendor" template then there wouldn't be a discrepancy. Or are you about to tell me that Blizzard has people who don't know how to use photoshop in their art department?

Also the fact there is a shoulder of the T-Shirt in the corner which is part of the original image shows there were items already present which means the cropped image has been edited to hide what they were.

And when it is fake? Mind you, even if the expansion itself IS Shadowlands, that doesn't mean THIS image isn't fake.

7/10 to the one who made this "leak". There are some mistakes that give it away, such as product naming inconsistencies, but otherwise it's a very well crafted fake.

If not that, it would be all the way 9/10 - like the first actual believable leak we had here so far.

That's it. It says "actual" leak, guess we can don't need to tune into blizzcon, that security guard that most definitely doesn't know the login credential to Blizzards things (as if they let people just start up with no security) snagged next xpac with his USB.

A lot of orc shamans were made into liches by Kil'jaeden.
Ner'zhul could check every point on the 'lich' list and since he merged with arthas I would think this is enough to get him a phylactery.


Also I want to add, why should the image be fake, just because Photoshop was used and it was snipped together from other images. I mean.. even blizz employees have to create images in some way? Using Photoshop would be my first thought how they'd work.

I mean, every Lich in game has always had the same physical appearance.

All bones. No skin, nothing.

Unlike many other forms of undead, a lich's soul is not imperfectly attached to its body; instead, liches bind their souls to special containers known as phylacteries, which then allows them to generate a physical form. This is why lich bodies look nothing like their former mortal selves, and also why one has to destroy a lich's phylactery to truly kill them; as long as a lich's phylactery and soul are allowed to remain intact, the being can never truly die and will always be able to regenerate their corporeal body.

On top of that, Arthas's soul was devoured by Frostmourne when he picked it up, not much to bind to a phylactery. And he's not listed as a Lich.
