Rising Mist is a talent no one takes because it’s so bad. Maybe the buff will change that.

    Don’t sweat.

Still a slot machine, just instead of having to roll 7/7/7/7/7, you have to roll 7/7/7/7. Seriously, am so glad they released classid, I hate casinos...

Why not just make it so Normal = Higher Corruption, lower primary buff, and as difficulty Normal -> Heroic -> Mythic, corruption is less, and the bonus effect is higher.

eventually they'll learn, they'll learn one way and remove it, or another and be removed entirely.
Bungie learned the former, Carbine learned the latter.

Spending your money on almost anything could br classified as “stupid”. You could make your own game for zero cash and have immense fun with it.

The mount is an offering. Don’t want it - don’t buy it. There are people who do. It’s how retail works.
Or you go around telling people off for buying a type of bread you personally don’t like?

Class design so incomprehensibly terrible that you have to boost spell potency by 2/3rds

Still won't change having to switch gear per boss for corruption/benefit on gear on a particular fight. Talents + gear switching per fight, zzZZzzZZZZZ

Thanks, but no thanks. Spending real money on PC is stupid. Can't imagine using a hardware that costs real money, that'd just be embarrassing.

The only embarrassing thing here is your stance on that, you are in no place to judge how other people spend their money.
Lots of touchy people here. Those analogies don't really work. If you're suggesting buying a cosmetic mount ingame (in a game where you can get hundreds of other mounts by actually....playing the game) is in anyway similar to a whole game, or a PC with all it can offer, then...yeah.

Of course I'm in a place to "judge" how other people spend their money, I just did, didn't I? It's just my opinion, deal with it. I genuinly believe it's embarrassing to spend money on cosmetics in a game.

People can do what they want with their money. Just like I can silently judge people riding mounts bought for real money ingame. They'll have to live with the potential for ridicule, just like I'm risking ridicule with my opinion.

I'm vehemently against buyable "non-content" (cosmetic stuff is non-content in my book) in videogames. It just reeks of greed. And the people buying those mounts and pets, are justifying their greed.

In short, you're broke and angry that other people can afford to buy what they want. Got it. Guess you'll have to deal with it too.

My income is slightly above average (in a rich country). I could buy everything from the store right now if I wanted, but why spend money on things that doesn't make the game any better?

I just use gold to buy a token when I want a store mount. Less gold than half the in game mounts I find on the AH.

what blizz should have done, remove titanforging, make all gear static.

blacksmithing can add void sockets(or whatever you want to call it).
JC could craft corrupted gems to go in these new sockets.
enchanters could enchant gear to add other corruption effects.
    etc...

why make this all rng instead of utilizing game mechanics and propping up professions? Make them useful and profitable.

I'd advice anyone against buying that mount, frankly. It's got the most horrid animations as it runs, and suffers heavily from the wobble effect when you ride over uneven terrain.

As for the usual "boo hoo" about them selling cosmetics... get the fuck over it already, it beats the crap out of F2P with micro-transactions or a higher sub fee, and it ain't going away no matter how much ya'll screech and flail.

    I’m all for the above....

Why not throw these traits into professions?

I can’t tell you how upset I was when I lost spellthreads/cape and ring buffs from Tailoring/Enchanting.

Makes sense to me if you want to re-energize professions that you return sockets (Belts) to BS, new stats/corruption to JC and enchanters. It would be great if various types of professions could be used to generate BIS enhancements for various classes, roles or specs.

More embarrassing than you paying $191.25 a year to play World of Warcraft?

I don't though, I use tokens. Even if I did, there's a difference between paying money to play a game, and paying money for something completely useless in that game.

I'm pretty sure you're only buying things that make your life better outside of the game (so you're not buying any additional clothes, furniture etc)
