My country has high inequality, high cost of living, problems with health, pensions, housing and public transportation.

Shit blows up because of a 4 cent fare hike on the subway. My president, in his infinite wisdom, decides to enact a state of emergency, and send the troops out to control the protests/riots (with predictable results, we are currently with 20+ dead people).
Shit's fucked, the dollar/peso converison skyrocketed, our government is impotent, our legislative branch is also impotent (or worse, trying to win some political points), and because of that, and also because they don't think that thing will return to normal in 3 more weeks/6 weeks, they cancelled the APEC and the UN COP25
