Blizzard made a mistake dropping the features trailer when they did, then. Because that trailer was BAAAAADDDD and apparently the expansion might have good things in it?

The trailer was a bit bland imo. But, I'm reserving some judgment for the expansion for the next hours.

Every Level Is Meaningful: Shadowlands will introduce a new leveling system, meant to provide a meaningful sense of advancement with every level achieved. Current max-level characters will begin Shadowlands at level 50 and work toward the new level cap of 60.


Squish and leveling overhaul have been confirmed.

Remember last Blizzcon when Blizzard revealed the lost honor cinematic, painting Sylvanas as the villain ans Saurfang as the definitive hero? If you were correct, people would be mad, but they cheered, and that video has a very positive like to dislike ratio, that's all I'm saying

I hope each of the 4 covenants become allied races/playable. Creepy skeleton/ liches, fawn-like creatures, angelic creatures and vampires.

As they level up, they’ll get new abilities based on their choice, including class-specific abilities for each Covenant—as well as developing Soulbinds with specific Covenant members, which grant them access to that character’s specific traits and bonuses.


Sounds like Covenant choice and "soulbinds" allow you to mutate your class.
