Maybe it's the optimist in me, but I see or at least hope, the lack of features means a greater focus on what they've already got. The game is an outright mess. Class design sucks, systems suck, everything is one dimensional and unrewarding. Instead of adding and adding and adding, they're making a greater effort to correct what they've already got instilled in the game.

Dunno. Lack of features never really bother me but this is really, really light and I guess there has to be some reason for it.

Yup. What WoW needs to get right is to learn what it can from Classic and fix the FUNDAMENTAL UNDERPINNINGS of WoW, not add some sort of dubious class 5.2% of the population will be playing 18 months after release.

Also I'll be truly shocked if there aren't multiple Allied Races over the course of this expansion too.

Three different prices for getting all of the features?! I am not the type to shit on blizzard much over the store, but this is insulting! Early access to the death knight class? Pay more for the boost you have been getting forever? What in fuck's name is going on? Where are the features?

You get all the features from the base one. The other ones are if you want a level boost, a mount, transmog, etc.

Those aren't really features. They're bonuses, more like.

It’s much more yelling of WoW 2.0. what have they done the last years when this is the outcome. Squishing levels... nice. But that’s not very spectacular. Sure BfAs features failed but that doesn’t mean you should completely abandon on them in your next expansion.

I doubt Blizzard has the balls to remake WoW, not after all the years we've been progressing throughout the game. The Void Lords are the last main, known threat after this. And they're also the last cosmic force we've yet to face off against so far. So, it'd make sense for us to face off against them in 10.0.

We're getting squished to 50 and levelling to 60 in Shadowlands

The new Convenants and customization overhaul are taking thie place of new classes/races

And the new feature is the Covenants.

As I've said, I doubt you can do one without the other at this point.

Looks like they're saving Dragon Isles and world revamp for 10.0. Because Wrath 2 comes before Cata 2.
