Yeah, to the people saying this looks to be one of the last WoW expansions? They wouldn't be doing a squish if they thought the game was ending soon.

one new ability is not nearly enough for an expansion this light, with no new class.

The covenant decision has to be an actual thematic almost full makeover of your class and its abilities, from a graphical and mechanical standpoint.

If I play a mage and choose the necrolord covenant, getting 1 ability probably on a cooldown and everything else is just regular mage gameplay, that is not enough.

The covenant is sounding suspiciously a lot like class hide outs - a feature that is toted as a major feature but in reality has very little impact on how your character plays.

I'm hoping it's just one from the covenant and more that are just in general for your class.

So apparently the idea that Mueh'zala has usurped the Shadowlands is true. Press release says that normally souls are put in the afterlife appropriate for the life they led, but now all souls are basically being sent to the WoW version of the deepest layer of Hell.

My guess is that's why Sylvanas was trying to kill as many people as possible. Mueh'zala probably grows in power the more souls are in his realm.

Makes me wonder what sylvie gets out of this, seems like if she just helps us kill him she could get a good afterlife (like the first time she died)

Every Level Is Meaningful: Shadowlands will introduce a new leveling system, meant to provide a meaningful sense of advancement with every level achieved. Current max-level characters will begin Shadowlands at level 50 and work toward the new level cap of 60.

Interested to see what the new leveling system is. The announcement trailer may have been lackluster, but this got me hyped again!

Would be hilarious if they need more time for this expansion to release than for Legion or BfA.

Oh sweet lord, I remember you really wanted November release. Now you whine about it?

8.3 will likely come in December, raid on January (and these are earliest dates) - two months after Antorus. So even October/November release would make it on par with Legion->BfA. To match WoD->Legion, they would have to release expac in 2021.
