Anyone making a DK main for Shadowlands?

As a former enhance main though, melee pures are the absolute worst. The game already has 4, so when there's an over representation of melee (like in Legion) guess who has to heal? Resto sham and hpal.

What do you consider a "melee pure"? Normally I'd assume that means rogue and the one spec of hunter that melees, but since you mention 4 I'm guessing that's not what you mean.

Classes which are always in melee? (regardless of alternative specs)

There's three tiers of melee classes:

Melee Only:
Warrior
DH
DK
Rogue

Melee with an Option:
Monk
Paladin
--Mostly melee oriented, but have a healer option

Melee Filler:
Hunter
Shaman
Druid

You could put Hunters on a fourth tier, since they have 2 ranged specs... but that can effectively vary depending upon their strength during a raid patch / cycle. If you're running melee hunters, shaman and druids, you're marginalizing your raid's recruitment of classes because literally one third to half the classes are oriented melee.

The biggest barrier that has kept me from really enjoying the DK class for the past few expansions is how mind-numbingly slow they move.

Used to be you could combat this with things like Bear Tartare, but that got nerfed too. I don't know. I like the idea of a Panda DK just for the LOLs, but without some passive movement upgrades it'll remain a hard pass. 1 or 2 short sprints on long cooldown isn't going to cut it.

IKR - just give us a glyph that makes Death Grip pull us to the target instead or a 'Ice Skate' dash. Cmon Blizz, its abt time..

Moving fast for 10 seconds out of every 3 minutes helps, but doesn't male the overall class fun for me, especially if I have to choose between speed and something else useful.

Used to have Deathmarch or Remorseless Death or whatever it was called that upped speed by 10% for Unholy.
