So Premier League refs are absolutely devoid of any kind of intelligence.

Son's yellow card was upgraded to a red because of the damage Gomes received as a result, even though said damage is the result of him planting his foot followed by a collision.

So if I get this straight, no matter how light the foul is, if a person breaks his arm as a result it should be a red? What nonsense is this?

Should players now get a red if they pull someone's shirt, they trip and break their arm from the fall?

That red was bullshit. You can't just base it on how hurt they are.

I fucking hate that logic, the card should be based on the foul, not the outcome.
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

Kovac out, maybe Bayern gets Wenger now as trainer.

Great win for blades Saturday, tore Burnley apart they never looked like scoring and were poor at the back. Surprised to be honest. Tottenham away next week and on current form i fancy us to get a point, maybe being to hopeful but you never know.

Son's red card was overturned. Justice.

Also, when the ref grabbed the red card VAR didn't do the mandatory review either.

Wow. The ref at Ajax absolutely lost his fucking mind.

Id say Ajax lost their minds..... Sure it aint fun for them to get 2 red cards and penalty against them at the same time, but i think all the calls where correct calls from the ref.

Correction, Blind got fouled first so it wasn't a red card.
Also, can't play advantage when it's a sending off card either. Veltman's handball wouldn't have happened in that case.

Maddest game I've seen and officiating all around was just ugh.

If you watch it in slow-mo you see Veltman got hit on his chest and his arms are behind him.

Veltman's card shouldn't have happened. Chelsea got lucky, but 11 v. 10 would have been a pretty big advantage too.

Well if there's any positives to take out of this is that Veltman won't be playing next match. Man's more overrated than my skills in the bedroom.

Absolutely no way did the ref get the decisions right. You can't give a booking for that handball, that's mental.

I would honestly fancy Wenger at Bayern considering the options. Ten Hag would be the best choice but he won't be available before next season the earliest so. Wenger may be old and kind of a meme but would be interesting to see what he could do with the players at Bayern, surely an upgrade from what he had at Arsenal since Henry's days. Kovac was "young" and inexperienced so there would be a big chance as well and apart from many of the other options Wenger speaks fluent German.

I don't see anything interesting in Allegri and while I hate Mourinho I have the feeling he could work quite well as an interim coach but reports say that at least Hoeness isn't fond of him. While Wenger would be a gamble it would surely be interesting as hell.

I'm not sure here, but i'm not sure that the booking came from the handball. It seemed to me that he got it from arguing with the ref after wards. It took quite some time for him to show the yellow to Veltman.

That could be true tbh, hadn't thought about that.

Tbh if they really want to send a message to the Italian FA regarding racism, violence and what not, just strip them of one of their CL spots.

Can't stab your opponent's fanbase in Rome if they don't have to come to Rome.

United should be happy they don't play AZ before mid-December, they'll have Pogba back by then.

They've qualified anyway, I'd play youth for it.

Pogba is saving himself for a bald french man. Hes a bit old school and religious like that. If he had actually done something at utd I might have even wished them well with their whirlwind romance.
