Saurfang and Vol'jin are the only characters that were Horde when they died from your list. And if you try to use the others then you need to bring in all the former Alliance as well like Ony, Fandral Staghelm, Archbishop Benedictus, etc....

Shh! you can't point out all the times Alliance characters where made into villains and died, Blizzard only hits the Horde with the villain bat after all...

They are just recycled NPCs from Mechagon. Even their hertiage armor is recycled from the NPCs. I doubt much development time was wasted lol

Please stop making these factions rep based and especially faction-rep based. As an exalted rep horde char, where's the fun regrinding on an alliance alt just to play a mechagnome? Saps the fun out of it. Game is already bad enough with essences and recipes tied to rep not being acc wide.

But they couldn't even be bothered to make multiple colors of it to match the different limb choices. It just comes across as lazy and very low effort. Especially when contrasted by the Vulpera.

Well, its only right that the people who like gnomes get something extra as well . We have 4 elfs, 2 humans , X amount of orcs, etc

I honestly think they are just scared to take chances with Alliance. Both in thematics of visuals and peronalities.

Even the Void Elves are just... Elves. And they're the first ones to not bow to the ideology of light and justice. And they had like 30 seconds of limelight before being put in the backseat while Anduin goes off and does Anduiny adventures starring Anduin. It gets mundane.

They really need a monstrous race doing something that rails against the rules set for Alliance. It'd be a good first step to shake up Alliance and give them a new dynamic.

By that logic, Garrosh wasn't the racial leader of the Orcs when he died so he doesn't count.

The fact that in the end the Mechagnomes reunite with regular Gnomes under Gelbin reinforces the point that they should have been a customization for Gnomes and not an Allied Race.

Yes. But new customization options don't sell race changes.

Blizzard has learned the lesson. I guess that's why they adding new customizations to the existing races in Shadowlands, and not adding "Allied race: black human" and "Allied race: asian human".

The only actual allied races we got so far were Void Elves, Nightborne and Vulpera. Every other allied race could very well had been customizations to their respective races.
