Yea, smoothing gameplay is something this game could really use, i love the game, but the animations feel like something from the early 00's

PoE is arguably not free, given that certain stash tabs are basically required.

That being said, spending 15 dollars once to buy a currency tab and a premium tab to trade is hardly a steep cost for continuous updates.

I feel like PoE had a HUGE advantage over D4 going into 2020. I don't feel that way nearly as much. Why? Release dates. I think the general assumption in the community was that 4.0 would be out in Summer of next year, but now it looks like it won't even be out till 2021.

Obviously I still expect it to release before D4, but had it come out sooner, they would've taken an absolute stranglehold on the market.

They have also been working on this for like 4 years now so It will look better. It is also really a different game than Diablo. I keep trying to get into it but it just never clicks. I do like the gem changes, that may help someone like me, but the biggest turn off from seeing this is the same UI and nameplates. Will still check it out at least for one full play through to check out the new areas and story.

I didn't expect this, though I don't know why. It just felt like we'd be building on this game forever. I have to say....as much as they are calling back to D2 for D4, this looks better and more polished. We already know the depth of gameplay will likely far surpass Diablo. I'll play both, but holy shit balls PoE2.

Been watching Kripp for an hour so far exploring act 1. The game looks downright amazing and that's from a stream PoV. The new skill and socket system is a real game changer and I feel it's for the better. Based on what I've seen between this and D4's gameplay, Blizzard has much work to do.
