That's true, pretty much everything apart from winning is winning in Trumpverse. That really ups the chances of winning, I guess.

Lol, won by the skin of their teeth with percentages that belong in the error margin. If not for Trump, the percentage would have been even more in favor of the democrats.
Still. Trump shows up when they had +polling numbers and then they lose. Spin all you want if it helps you sleep at night. A win is a win and a loss is a loss, and Trumo has been racking up many more Ls than Ws since becoming president.

Oh, we're back to "scour the internet for anything that's favorable to Trump". They already tried that.

Rasmussen has had Trump's approval near 50% for just about ever. Whereas most other polling numbers place it lower.

FiveThirtyEight's poll aggregator currently has it at 41.2% approval to 54.3% disapproval (-13.1% spread).
RealClearPolitics' poll aggregator currently has it at 44.2% approval to 54.0% disapproval (-9.8% spread).

broken clock is right twice a day, 2016 race Nov 7th (day before election) Rasmussen had trump at -3 while other major polls had -5-8, with the real outliner was one of them had Trump +2, Now look at 2018 where Rasumssen was off by 10+ and again in 2012 was off by 10+, Their track record gets even worse when you look at further down ballot races

The president spotted a tweet from an anchor of the lesser-known Trump propaganda “news” network, One America News, who linked to an article that quoted Un’s own mouthpiece, North Korean’s state news agency KCNA. The tweet called Joe Biden a “rabid dog” and said he should be “beaten to death with a stick.” But Trump ignored the threat and cheerily replied, “See you soon!”

“Mr. Chairman, Joe Biden may be Sleepy and Very Slow, but he is not a “rabid dog.” He is actually somewhat better than that, but I am the only one who can get you where you have to be. You should act quickly, get the deal done. See you soon!” the president tweeted.

Clinton 322, Trump 216; 50-50 Senate; GOP holds House
After a nearly two-year campaign — kicked off in December 2014 by Jeb Bush (remember him?) — we’ve come to it at last. Election Day is less than 24 hours away.

They actually ended up being one of the worse EC calls

Trump is the one who wrecked the GOP voter base and got Democrats out to vote. Welcome to the time of losing hundreds of seats across the nation to Democrats. Trump is the most unpopular president ever in the history of polling.

I realize you guys have to surround yourselves with echo chambers so you can hear your own voices shouting "TRUMP'S INNOCENT" for anyone to agree with you at all. That you guys have already determined he's innocent and won't even look at the evidence just proves how brainwashed into the cult you are. People who aren't even willing to look at evidence, roflmao. And before you say "I DID LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE, HE'S STILL INNOCENT SCREEEEE" then I guess you don't know federal law that well.

This did also happen under Obama. Sorry I don't have time to research it if Obama or Trump has lost more State seats and Governors under which one. I remember Obama was devastated over his 4-8 years. Honestly a big problem I have with Obama is he didn't seem to care that much about down ballot or at least Wasserman-Schultz was horrible at it.

Now, again we can take a good guess or speculate why each lost all these seats. I will stick with Trump since it his thread. Yes, I would hope that Trumpism has turned off many voters or at least "moderate" voters.

I can't remember if SALT tax that Trump revoked on mainly blue states turned suburban voters away. Suburban voters really do vote with their pocket book and do love tax cuts, which is why they were always strong Republican. Now was it that their taxes were still affected or they just see Trump as he is, a fascist bigot.

Anyways this is rambling, but I don't know if we can boast about all these seats Trump has lost or is this the new trend that every mid-term of a 1st term President shit will just swing wildly.
Democrats are the best! I will never ever question a Democrat again. I LOVE the Democrats!

    A few things:

    1) As I've personally noted before, the Japan deal is "Japan buys slightly less than if we'd stayed in the TPP." It's a net loss.

    2) As others have noted before, Trump said China would buy tens of billions and China said noooooooo we will buy as much as we were buying before the tariffs.

So far, that's 0/2 for Trump beating the status quo. He is a net loser.

    3) Why put quotes on "cash"? Just say money. Or, are the quotes sarcastic?

    4) Trump decided not to ban Juul pods because he was worried the job losses would make him look bad.

"What does that have to do with the tweet?"

Nothing. I just wanted to post that.

Obama lost mountains of seats but, I have a little caveat to include that most don't ever really think about when they look at it.

Obama took office in 2009, just before the last redistricting where the Republicans did a massive push and gained just enough seats in many places to gain a majority for redistricting.

They gerrymandered the living hell out of them. Using my home state of North Carolina as an example. Before that, our 13 seats were typically split 8D/5R to 6D/7R. Purple with a slight blue edge but typically within the range of the popular vote.

After they redistricted, all of a sudden that shot up to 3D/10R even with a 50/50 split in the popular vote. Even with the Democrats winning the popular vote 55/45, the seats still were split 4D/9R.

Our last election, we had 1 district where a Republican ran uncontested. Out of the 12 contested districts, the Democrats got 164,000 more votes than the Republicans and only got 3 of the seats while the Republicans lost and got the other 9.

That is a minimum of 4 stolen seats right there, along with any other position voted on by district along with any other position where they are appointed or nominated by anyone voted on by district.

Now repeated that across the nation.

I am wondering just how many of those seats under Obama were actually LOST seats versus STOLEN seats.
Since we can't call out Trolls and Bad Faith posters and the Ignore function doesn't actually ignore it. Add
    "mmo-champion.com##li.postbitignored"
to your ublock or adblock filter to actually ignore ignored posters. Now just need a way to ignore responses to them as well.

Well, at least that have the trumpansees right, the US really isn't a democracy, it's a republic, where someone represents you, or not.

Hospitals threaten to sue Trump over his price transparency rules.

    "What rules?"

It was something he proposed recently, basically saying insurers and hospitals need to disclose the rates of out-of-pocket costs of procedures before they're applied.

"I mean, that sounds kind of reasonable."

    Well, yes, except for

    1) Right now, that's a proposed rule. Not applied.

    2) Hospitals are going to argue that the Executive Branch doesn't have the authority to do that. Instead, it's a law that should be passed by Congress. No such law exists.

    3) And also, the ACA almost makes it irrelevant. The ACA has a maximum amount anyone can pay out of pocket per year, to prevent price gouging from putting sick people in debt forever. Now, Trump has unilaterally made it so plans without this cap are legal again, and people with those formerly illegal plans might want the heads-up. But this is, yet again, Trump trying for a partial fix for a problem he made himself.

Which means it doesn't matter how reasonable it sounds. Yes, putting a brace or cast on a sprained ankle sounds like a smart move. You know what else sounds smart? Not skating down 3 flights of solid stone steps on a cafeteria tray coated in pizza grease.

How is that not already required? I'm honestly trying to find something that would make sense in your healthcare system but it's proving to be quite impossible
