Which is void/old god based. So either way he's right.

Exactly. SWP was obviously planned it wrapped up the BC story of the Blood Elves, Kaelthas, The Sunwell etc. It was never just "thrown together". When Blizz does that you get MC, a big cave full of existing mob assets and nothing else.

It counts. It was a raid. There was a boss. It was the last one. It doesn't matter if you don't like it.

Maybe this is the time they break the wheel no?
    You're really reaching here.

First of all, in a cohesive story it's natural the the villains will be somehow connected, and they somewhat are, but that doesn't mean they are all from the same "camp".

Scourge isn't really the same as the burning legion, even though there is a connection there.

Deathwing and Garosh don't really count as old gods, even though they may have had a part in corrupting them. You didn't even see a glimpse of an actual old god with those.

Other than that, yeah there's plenty BL related villains and plenty Old Gods, because that's what the story is about...

It was released last, but it wasn't really the "final boss of wotlk", it was more of a prelude to Cataclysm. Halion himself stating to be the herald of deathwing and harbinger of the cataclysm. Ruby Sanctum was in a way a prepatch event raid, which was very cool, too bad we don't get those anymore.

So if you do it for TBC, the same must be held for WotLK.

it counts as much as SWP did in TBC.

And SWP was a "filler raid" just like Ruby Sanctum was. It was just scaled so hard that so few ever cleared it, let alone Raided it.
I like this argument, but here's the thing...

Kil'jaeden was the main antagonist of TBC anyway.

Even if you count Halion as last boss it's still old god connected.
