    budget cpu/mobo combo nov 2019?

not that I 'need' it, since i am not using anything demanding, but I am considering upgrading my i5 4690k and asuz z97-a mobo on a budget.

is there any combo under 350$ I *should* consider or should i wait it out further?

Not sure why you'd go with a Strix b450-f over a tomahawk, but hey, whatever.. (also 3600x only 5 dollars more than the non-x, that's a nice sale)

3600/x and b450 tomahawk max are pretty what you'd get for pretty much everything until your budget for a complete PC goes up to like 1500.

You'll also need new RAM though, and which pushes you above 350 dollars total
