I was just clearing Mythic HFC in delusion that I'd get the mount and I remembered this thread when I rescued Grom. He stays there to carve a skull out of a demon to use on his belt or some such thing when he didn't even kill it in the first place as he was doing his best Bolvar impression as he was suspended in the air. I couldn't help but to laugh.
