Once there our of prison they should get to vote. They take part in society like every one else so they should get a say. Hell America was founded because of things like not getting a say in there society.
Chances are good that they aren't paying any taxes as well. Along with not being able to vote getting a job could be a real issue with a felony conviction. Sales taxes would be a different thing as those are used more locally for services like schools, police, fire, roads ie. things that even a a person with a felony and can't vote would benefit from.
Someone who has committed felonies.
From the Wik:
"A misdemeanor offense is typically a nonviolent crimes which includes shoplifting, certain type of drug possession, simple assault and disorderly conduct. Felony, on the other hand, is much serious crime, which carries longer jail sentence and higher penalties."
You didnt teach me anything. If you knew anything they still get called inmates or cons outside as well.

Ya I judge them by how big of scum bags they are. Luckily heroine seems to be doing a good job of thinning the herd of them when they get out.
It certainly creates more of an incentive to charge people with more felonies if you don't like some aspect about them, and some populations are at higher risk of committing felonies than others based on circumstance. But yeah, limit the ability of those communities to try to change their circumstances democratically. Seems legit.
What about rapist, should convicted rapist be allowed to vote especially for representatives that can vote on bills like say concerning informed consent?
What if nobody convicted was disfranchised we knew for certain they were guilty of a certain crime, is there no point where you feel a person should lose their input into laws that govern everybody else?
I don't, I don't think wolves should be allowed to vote on what sheep are going to be for dinner.
