NOw Jedi are almost always boring until they fall or are in danger of falling. Mace Windu and Qui-Gon might be my favorites from the movie series.

Sith are always more interesting when they are written a little more... than say Sidius from the original trilogy "soemthing something, dark side. Something something complete"... Bane, Jadus, Malgus, Traya... Light side force users just come across as bland too often.
He was written well in Maul: Lockdown and Shadow Hunter. I always felt the character was short changed in Phantom Menace.

As for the jedi question I liked Ben Skywalker in the Fate of the Jedi series.

Obi wan for sure hes got the most sense of humor.

Well he isn't a Jedi for one. If you stick to cannon he isn't Sith either, just a force sensitive with limited training.

Well he either is or as some think he knew what was going to happen and knowing it would balance the force he let it.

A few have, it isn't common. Off the top of my head the only ones that did were originally Jedi too. I am sure there is some converted Sith out there I can't think of though.

If you stick to canon, Maul was definitely a Sith until his first 'death'. He was also the 3rd strongest Sith and stronger than all Jedi but the very top tier (Yoda, Windu, Obi, Anakin) . Sidious also liked Maul more than he liked Dooku.

If Sidious had a heart he probably would have been proud of every thing Maul achieved after the crawling out of the hole.

Obi-wan definitely deserves respect. He was among the top Jedi through hard work and dedication without being particularly naturally gifted like a lot of his peers.

If you are going by cannon that also means rule of 2 so he isn't a sith.

Maul beeing a sith at all, he must have done some work since he is a zabrak and they generally dont let aliens become sith

Honestly that fight is a masterpiece. It has so many little details that make it great. Kenobi's signature lightsaber stance, his swap to Qui-gon's, the same move used to defeat Qui-gon used by maul, the build up, etc.

It was Plagueis and Siddius, than Siddius/Palpatine and Dokku. Maul wasn't formally trained and was just Palpatines bruiser. This was to keep Plagueis from vetted posted off and to keep Maul just weak enough to kot be a threat to Palpatine. Yes Maul was still much stronger than the movies would leave people to believe, but he wasn't actually Sith

    Mara Jade maybe

At least I hope her Disney+ rumored series to be true (obviously not sticking to EU canon).

    I always forget about Plagueis.

In the old canon Maul was just an assassin and Plagueis was around a bit longer.

In new/Disney canon, Sidious killed Plagueis and trained Maul as a Sith as the Rule of Two mandates. Maul was a full Sith until he was cut in half. Sidious would make remarks after the Clone Wars Maul was better than Dooku.

Qui gon and his student Obi-Wan Kenobi is both my favorite but what I love most now is Mandolorian I know its not jedi but with the TV series I love him most

I had to vote Rey since she is all the Jedi. Nothing else works because someone awesome would be left out so it has to be Rey.

  19. #99
If you dont vote for Mary Sue...Rey your opinion is clearly not PC.

I've always liked Mace Windu. Powerful and willing to do what is needed for the greater good. Even if it's against the code.
